Our hosting has experienced a hardware failure yesterday. They are still working on to recover everything and get back our site online again.This does not affect our trading system. We are still controlling all open positions for our users.

The next step is 0.18. It is very carefully entered manually. The last position was also a manual when we saw a possible pullback.But please, I like to ask everyone interested that please read the FAQ section. There is a strategy subpage where you can read about it. Adding increased positions comes with a danger, but we have many years of observation about possible movement in this pair, so we do it accordingly.Also, this is the reason we allow custom drawdown limits. Not everyone is comfortable with this possible risk, so that everyone can set it manually.

@peretz We decided to trade at a lower risk level so we opened a smaller position. Usually, we open 0.05 lots on the master account but yesterday we used 0.03 lots instead.

@stefano66 We suspended trading on several accounts yesterday because we had an issue with currency conversions on some accounts that use a different currency than the master account. Every affected accounts' owners received an email this morning. Please check your inbox. Trading will resume today.

The 2020 United States presidential election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020. We will skip trading on the election day and carefully analyze market movements in the coming days. If the situation requires we will decrease our risk or skip another trading day to secure our clients' capital against dangerous market movements.

@drayzen Probably we will reduce the initial positions when there will be higher volatility just like in March due to COVID. Also, we have a habit of not to trade in the last 2 weeks of the year, I think this year it is the best we can do.

Glad to see your discussion about this topic and sorry for the late input from us.We usually have test accounts next to the master account with different settings including trailing stop as well. In the long run, there is no significant difference with and without trailing stop. The difference is fewer profits when only one trade opened, but the little discrepancy is about to recover when more trades are involved. But to keep profitable in the long run having multiple positions opened is not the ideal situation. With more positions opened we also have to take into consideration the number of a...

@JTCarcil Yes, you can subscribe. It won’t interfere with our strategy but please keep in mind that if you use the same account, having drawdown the same time in both strategies exposes your risk of losing.

@extons Since you are already discussing with Myfxbook about the strategy update frequency please be so kind and ask them why the DD changed before accusing us that we manipulated. How do you think we could change the maximum drawdown data on our will? What would we gain from changing 15% to 12%? Do you think there is any significant difference between the two values? I don't understand your motivations. You already canceled your trial twice after a week. Now you are asking to try it free a third time but before you could expect an answer from us you send an unfriendly message on our forum...

@aranciata That is correct. We tested several brokers and it was clear that IC Markets has by far the best spread in the Asian session. That is the reason we only allow IC Markets for our local copy service. However you can use any other broker at SignalStart but keep in mind that you can get significantly different results because of the different trading conditions.Check out https://myfxbook.com/forex-broker-spreads for live spreads and see if your broker has better spreads than IC Markets at the Asian session.
