This is not a scam, it's just an EA with a poor trading logic. It enters on breakouts right at the top on exhaustions, when other people take their profits and the trend fades, this thing enters - when the party is over.It stays in profit for 5 min. and deceives you that you will walk away with a gain, then the spike is over and you got your butt handed to you in the form of a SL.

You're right, it works right now but that's just a fluke, for sure.Everybody knows that GBPUSD is one of the most erratic fx pairs, prone to all types of false breakouts, etc. The cable is historically very volatile but not always in a 'friendly' way. This is also reflected in the BT: over the long haul it's a break-even thing, at best. Withdraw your profits asap before the market changes behavior again, or else you will flush all gains down the toilet... trust me, the BT doesn't lie here.

IIRC, the EA has horrible performance in BT prior (I believe) to 2012 or so on the cable. And by horrible I mean steady 45° declining.I can double check later if needed, but GBPUSD has been the worst performer on BT for a long time.

A streak of 5 consecutive losing months in a row and a rather staggering -57.85% drawdown figure.Game over?

Well. Based on the performance metrics of this live account I'm watchinghttp://www.myfxbook.com/community/trading-systems/goldbull-pro-aggressive/946337,8#?pt=2&p=7&ts=62&o=946337it seems like an aggressive setting trades 0.75 lots on a $1300 (roughly) account, i.e. 75.000 units (assuming 1 lot=100.000 of base currency). On that account size, you're using roughly a leverage of x57 per trade - way overleveraged as far as I'm concerned. Two open trades at the same time and you could get a margin call on 1:100 account. That is an unlikely event since the EA scalps for mere...

I've counted an astonishing 18 trades in a row in the red now... talk about losses. :)http://i61.tinypic.com/29xbrbo.pngThere's more blood here than in Dario Argento's flick Deep Red.That doesn't take anything away from the EA, but when it's out of synch with the markets, it sure looks ugly.

I agree, such an event has been priced in the markets, and volatility is expected, no need to chicken out with microlots. Also, I thought that high volatility was the way the EA has been coded to expolit patterns in the first place?

Yep... That's one of the issues with scalpers that rely so heavily on execution, they are generally not very scalable or "compoundable" strategies as the account grows in size. That is, a $1 mill account trading say 100 lots is going to be much more impacted than the guy placing 0.01 lots at a time. But there will also be a collective whipsaw effect, if a broker has 1000 people trading the same system, all at the exact same time, same orders, ALL people are going to get a slice of slippage, regardless of size traded. You trade 10 lots, you get slippage, you trade microlots, you ge...

The best place to trade the bot seems to be at RoboForex. Don't have direct experience with this broker so cannot vouch for (or against) but I'm not going to argue against a 63% monthly performance. That's pretty impressive for sure. One possible way to utilize this thing: use aggressive settings, double your money as long as it works, withdraw profits, and cross fingers that the strategy will last some more.

Hey GoldBull, good for ya! :)Anyway, I think there are a couple of good reasons why such a strategy cannot survive very long.First it is extremely easy for a broker to manipulate the execution either through order delay or slippage - MT4 has been known to be manipulated by all sorts of virtual dealer plug-ins. So, it is extremely easy for the broker to go after you with such a scalper.Second, even if the broker is 100% honest and transparent, performance will tend to degrade anyway as more and more people are inundating the order books and the servers with the same orders at the same spots, to...

Demo isn't going to do much for you as it doesn't factor in slippage and execution time (slippage especially).I've seen scalpers come and go and in my experience MT4 as a platform isn't equipped to handle aggressive scalping very well. cTrader maybe (just maybe). It's a tad suspicious that the vendor doesn't show a live performance. I'd like to see a decently sized account, say 1k, and at least 6 months of forward testing. This would give me some comfort...

Hi,here's my take on this EA: as with other aggressive scalpers, it is imperative that you run it on true ECN broker, with minimal spreads (i.e. 0.1 - 0.5 pips) and low commissions, when commissions are included the transaction costs should not exceed 1 pip.Very important as well is execution time (the EA stays in trades for seconds) and as low slippage as possible. If you look at the performance metrics of this live account (not mine)http://www.myfxbook.com/members/GoldBull_Pro/goldbull-pro-live/1229593/mYUG1RsrawmqfnbMFKVbyou will notice that the only pair in the green is EURUSD, and only...

I have contacted Pepperstone a number of times and their best suggestion was: contact the vendor. Duh!I think the guys at Tulip should take down Pepper as one of the recommended brokers and stop the IB deal, until they fix the bugs with the datafeed. Just my 2 cents.

None of my other EAs has problems on the EDGE, and I have coded some myself... anyway, people must know that the EDGE is incompatible (at least for the moment) with your robot and that they are not given the choice to open an account on the old servers, they are redirected to these EDGEs. So it is pointless that you reiterate how well you are doing on the old accounts, those are HISTORY - anyone joining Pepperstone from now on will get these new datafeeds. It's not that I don't like Kangaroo, it's just that I can't tell... I would love to like it, if it only took some trades.

I don't blame anyone, I'm just presenting facts. It's a fact I bought a quite expensive EA, opened up an account with one of the preferred brokers, and have yet to get a trade. Well truth to be told I was an old client of Pepperstone already, and moved to this new datafeed as per suggestion... Too bad one is not allowed to switch back to their standard accounts once you move forward to the Edge. Can't you arrange something with them for your clients? Are you IBs for them or not? I really find it amusing that the EA doesn't function properly on one of your recommended broker...

Does NOT work on their new Edge servers and I am one of your customers, I know first hand. Your forum is full of people reporting exactly the same issue. You are an IB for Pepperstone, this is your recommended choice along FinFx, but Pepperstone is your nr. 1 choice (same broker you use to run the managed account), yet the EA keeps dodging trades here...
