As long as you are realistic about how much you can make on each trade , how much is the price moving , how much is it pulling back each time , where is your stop and entry etc.

If you win on your trades most of the time on a large account they risk out your trade to the banks and other large players , other trades are in house.

You could try to put your stop somewhere else apart from the obvious place , you could trade after the spike has occurred , lets say your looking at eur/usd the obvious place was 06000 to take a trade so lets say most went short from this level , say we had a stoploss of 20-50 points the most obvious push would be at least 100 points to take out stops, but looking back on the 1hr chart you can see the final spike almost lines up with the support on the 23rd major sell bar, it takes it out by a few points, that's a signal but not always , that's when I would go short. That's an exam...

The Eur/Gbp position still holding the spike exactly at 10pm liquidity was pretty thin before that rip into the market,as we approach the Asian session it's normally technical trading .http://www.myfxbook.com/files/snapdragon1970/IMAG0059.jpg

At a bank you go on risk with orders you don't even want , taking orders you know that are going to lose money ,its the commissions the bank depends on for taking the trade , win or lose , most of the time you are an opposite trade to make up for the loses on position the sales desk take.90% of your time is making prices 10% loading the trades into an algo and monitoring.

Plus knowledge of how and why the big players trade the way they do , loads of info online or get on a course with an ex banker/trader, an inside picture of the mechanics will give you a fighting chance.
