Hi ModrisIts hard to describe something that is based on experience and years spent staring at the screen. Basically I trade based on price patterns and support/resistance levels but it still takes past experience to make the right judgment.Robert

I saw that, I'm not against putting out more information, it just makes me laugh how some people get obsessed about others trading. C'mon if someone offers managed services and uses a certain strategy that you don't like or does not show what you'd like to see SIMPLY DON'T participate in such program - simple as that.

Why do you people get so upset about how someone else is trading and about martingale.Martingale is a tool to be used just like any other, it seems like when it works in your favor its perfectly ok but when it goes against you its all bad, just like leverage it works both way and yet I don't hear anyone hear complaining about leverage they use.Personally, I consider each trade as a separate trade based on circumstances at that time and sometimes I will have trades that will resemble martingale but its only because in my opinion the conditions have improved since the first entry that I add...

I was not comparing the results, I was just referring to your post (post #9) which said they were the same system and I'm just saying that if they are then the back tests are a worthless piece of crap since the difference in results is larger then Atlantic.I have nothing against you or your system, my point was just that pretty much back tests in general have no reflection in live trading. However, I always look for someone to prove me wrong, please let me know in few months if your live traded account performs at least 75% as well as your backtests.Good trading R

I'm not sure if DoubleTrap was addressing me but No I do not believe in back tests and they will NEVER perform the same in Live trading and YES, Gain is the only thing I can judge the results by since I cannot go back in time and put myself in the position of person/EA making the trades to understand that trade.I only trade manual and every trade is different.R

OMG, you gotta be kidding me.What period would you like me to use? Do you really not understand the basic math that the proportions will be the same even if I used a nono-second or a decade? What does deposit amount have to do when we're talking about percentage gains, if you use the same strategy, you just adjust your lot size and you take the same trades as dictated by the strategy.R

I don't know how you can compare a live system doing 0.52% DAILY with a back tested system doing 65.39% DAILY and claiming them to be the same. NIGHT and DAYR

I agree with pc8m. These charts are unrealistic in live trading. However, I'd love to be proven wrong :)R

I don't think funding is the issue since there is multitude of brokers offering very small deposit requirements and offering nano-lots trading. The system should perform about the same whether you trade 100 units of 100,000 units. The liquidity issues should not be an issue until you start trading into tens of millions of units with most brokers therefore, the conditions you'll get trading micro/nano lots will be similar to trading standard lots. That said its still beyond me that you can't come up with $5000 to test this thing and yet you require minimum deposit of $5000.00 to man...

its funny how people will waste their time arguing about $100-$200 when they could make as much in the time it took to write the repsonses. Please do keep going its very amusing.

How about making 1-5 trades per day, would anyone catch on?One could manually make some random loosing trades to shake off the suspicion. If its illegal in one country just use it in the country where it is legal, I don't think most of the things discussed here as illegal apply to forex they are mostly applicable to Equity markets.R

Hi PistisThank god for hedging :)I'll get out of it, it may take some time but I will. As to stop losses you are absolutely right they need to be used, I'm planning to make another attempt in the coming weeks to stick to 5% DD/SL. Lots of people lost a lot of money late last week, I'm still in the game so I guess I'm still doing something right.Robert

I don't consider your comment/question as criticism.Getting back to the discussion, your are correct, on average that is true with this account, while some loose less then others the average loss is what is shown. The loss is primarily due to the bloodbath we have seen since Wednesday and the loosing trades are in EURUSD.If you look at the historical trades of all the three accounts in my portfolio you will see that the system I'm using provides me with excellent trade opportunities most of the time and all the accounts were/are Live accounts. This is probably the first time I have be...

Average Joe1. Absolute gain has no meaning on managed accounts as there are multiple accounts that have become member at different times and deposit and withdrawals make that number worthless. Do some thinking about it and find out how it is calculated and you should agree with me.2. Culumative gain is of more use in this case as new base is established ever time there is a deposit.3. Its not as easy as you imagine, because different clients join at different time and have different amount of build in profit everyone will have a different DD % in their account, the first member will be in the ...
