Well, not a good day for FGB. Started good, about 50 pips gain in 3 trades, turned into a 90 pip loss for those trades.Nevertheless, still a good EA in the long run

If FGB is supposed to follow trend, I don't understand why it hasn't opened any trades in the current EUR/USD selloff that has being going on during the morning.That's really odd

Graham did you tweak the EA for this account? Or the difference between yours and Eugene's is brokerwise? For example, at this time, your account has one selling position open, loosing some pips, while Eugene's and mine are running a buying position?

Same for me, had to close them manually. First time I enter to modify the trades since my account was not reacting as fxgrowthbot account, and that's my properly working parameter.Then, this morning, my account entered a trade wich wasn't taken by fxgrowthbot account, so I decided to set a trailing for those positions, and closed at winning for a few pips.Afterwards, I updated EA (I received mail yesterday about an update), and restarted my MT4, crossed my fingers, let it running and left for work, and here I am, checking every 5 mins thru myfxbook.com my account: I definitely love thi...

Thanx a lot. I received the email warning the update yesterday, but didn't go home (where my pc is) until nightime, so when arrived started monitoring my account until found out that my trades didn't close the same time fxgrowthbot account did, so closed them manually. And then again, this morning, my account made a trade wich wasn´t taken by the fxgrowthbot account.Now, I just left my pc back at home, but updated EA and restarted MT4 as you suggested. Thanx a lot again

Yes, I'm trying it out on a real account with ThinkForex.com that is the recommended broker according to Forex Growth Bot site, and so far, the same results as this account that is running the creator of FGBhttp://www.myfxbook.com/members/fxgrowthbot/forex-growth-bot/71611My settings are as it comes by default, and I'm trading 0,05 lots, on a standard account, with 1:200 leverage, initially funded with US 500

jimbo, are you running a trailing stop at the EA, or just closing manually? I ask since your account closes trades early than fxgrowthbot and mine, wich are running just the EA

There's a lot of broker sensitivity about this EA since this account is running extremely different from mine and from the one fxgrowthbot has tracking of in the site

Something's wrong with this account. OK, so here is my real account with ThinkForex.com, running from my PC, no VPS, leverage 1:200, initial deposit US$500, lot size 0,05, a bit higher than recommended by fxgrowthbot creator but tha smallest lot size available for that broker.Results are exactle the same as the account running by fxgrowthbot here, wich is the same one he offers investor access for.Hope this helps people check what this EA has to offer, since not everyone is capable of taking chances to run it live straight from the box, no previous demo test, just trusting what the investor access showed.Good luck, good trade

I'm starting to doubt wether it is good or bad that it trades news, because i've been analizyng and the bot doesn't enter the trade right after the first news movement, but rather waits a little while, 4 to 5 candlesticks to identify the movement as a strong one and then enters.I figured that out since today trades where taken after Bernanke spoke, and rode the trend for a while, wich got the great performance from today.PS: I'll be verifying my trading privileges in a little while when I get back home from work.My bot is actually running absolutely alone. Same here, almost took back the losses, but my accoutn running in my pc, stayed a bit longer, and lost a few pips more, but nothing too bad to consider.And I will quote RPP123"this EA design to catch big moves, losers are small and winners are big,if you don't have patiance you will never make money in forex,"Definitely it's just a matter of patience and believing that there´s going to be more winner's than loosers, or at least, bigger wins than losses.
