or use another broker. what's a point to pay so much for your trading? tenix, why you think FinFX was only one where NFP spike trades were triggered? LOL

And loss will be a high probabily outcome.. Better option is to trade it on a fixed spread broker.

Dunk, I will share a secret with you - NONE. The only was to trade successfully with MDP is to stay small and be under the radar. Brokers go after bigger traders. learned my lesson

Don't forget that grouping orders will increase lot size significantly sometimes.Unfortunately reality is different from what you described, I had some orders over 10 standards, and mostly they been a disaster to modify if market does not cooperate. Not certain it is due to order size though, but I have that suspicion. Seen it at many brokers like Oanda, Alpari, etc. Once orders are small all work well, once you start crossing some line, you start getting errors.

I got some too, but my broker has deteriorated a lot last week. I have switched down to 1 max trade normal risk and will run another test with 8 trades minimal lot for comparison. Lots of errors, slow modification, not timely order closure, trail stop, etc.

Well then I am happy for you. Experience though tells once you start trading bigger execution will start deteriorate or broker overall start to deteriorate. I still think MDP can be used profitable, but some thinking needs to be applied.

Problem is not a slippage (I mostly get none even for huge orders), but delay in execution, so order has been submitted, but while it is being processed price moves to the requested level and execution is erred, position not modified. This is much worse than any slippage and its impossible to simulate.

Geek, the problem here is when broker fails to execute order modification losses can be severe as the full stop out will be used. This is what happened today. When execution is perfect like on demo back test, there will be no severe losses, unfortunately not the case on live.

MDP is fine, it's broker issue. My other broker did not lose nothing same config as the main one.

then check for the errors and your latency maybe orders were received too late.I have good latency but got a lot of errors due to slow execution :(

I won that one and covered part of the losses. The only reason for the loss was slow broker execution. My other broker did not lose nothing as modification was 3 times faster.

I have up to 100 standards opening on same conditions with 200:1 no problem. And it is easy to work around lot size if you think a little.

I have smallish gain on one broker and huge loss on another, execution was extremely slow and most likely the case of huge losses.

same story as with 2Trl EFSF rumour. constant move with not retrace, only enough to trigger. All in late NY session when manipulation is easy. Maybe better to stop any trading this time for good.
