FX Rogue Wave v1.10 - SL Control

Stop Controlled by percentage (CompuForexTrailingStop = TRUE)Created by KennyHubbard on the DonnaForex Website http://www.donnaforex.com/forum/index.php?topic=3193.0 is a very nifty EA that controls stop loss based on percentage. I recommend checking out the website to view instructions on its use and to give proper credit to it’s creator. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact the creator, I simply added it for personal use and testing to this EA.

FX Rogue Wave Expert Advisor (An MT4 Forex breakout strategy)Written by IBtheScottyBThe concept of trading Forex to me is similar to surfing at the beach. The object of the exercise is to catch a wave and ride it as long as you can. If you start paddling on EVERY wave, you will exhaust yourself. In Forex, you will exhaust your capital. You can no more guess what the price is going to do in Forex, than you can guess how big the wave is going to catch. Therefore, we will take the only certainty in Forex that I have found and that is… at any given point, the price WILL go up or down. The ob...

MistiFx (and anyone else trading many standard lots on MDP),I don't post often mainly because I am happy with MDP and my VPS setup ( I use professor53 btw).My question is... as my account begins to grow, at what quantity of standard lots traded does MDP begin to waiver? For various reasons, MDP cannot run forever. There will come a time that limitations of the broker will override the capabilities of MDP.I know your answers will vary depending on broker. If I am told that anything up to x standard lots is good, I will not worry about it until I get close to that level. Then when I do and m...

Could be a connection...this weekend when I did my maintenance on my PC, MalwareBytes (my antivirus program) targeted MDP's dll file as a trojan which it is obviously not. Check your antivirus logs to see if it has been deleted or quarantined. If it has, some A/V programs will not allow it to be installed and it must be added to your A/V exclusion list. Then it should be able to be installed again.

Mazavar,My info is about a month old. October I started trading with MDP on HotForex and did very well. However, their servers started freezing when MDP traded. Their tech support kept telling me they were going to upgrade their servers. All I can say is that when it did trade, it did well. But the unreliability of their servers made me switch to IBFX.

I do not. Professor53 runs my VPS. You are welcome to ask him (Link above). It works, that's all I am concerned with. 😀

www.professor53.com. He visits the MDP forum often. So far I believe we have all done very well with his setup. I have spoken to him on the phone and he seems like a solid sort. His price ($40/month) is reasonable for VPS service.

Went live with the jungle trading strategy. Made almost 200 pips today on some real nice breakouts. Can't always happen like that, but I sure didn't mind it happening today.

There comes a time when you have to say enough is enough. I have done so with Forex Cash Multiplier. Not saying it is a bad EA, but it sure doesnt like unstable markets like we have seen over the past two weeks. I have pulled them off my account. That goes for Forex Combo as well. Forex Combo never did like the holiday season. So I will take it down for the next couple months.I saw a pretty interesting Manual strategy herehttp://profitalertmachine.com/v/scamfreeforexWeird video, but been testing on demo for a bit now and I like it. Results from this day forward will be based on it.

Anyone using HotForex and MDP since they added a second Europe Server?

All I can say is WOW ( and not the good kind of Wow). It obvious that Forex Cash Multiplier cannot handle the spikes we have seen in the market lately.Since the market is ever changing, I am going to give it a few more days with Stop Loss Control in play and see how it does. I may be going back to my old standby Forex Combo and MDP. I am running it on a different chart for those folks following this thread. They seem to compliment each other very well. So much so, I may purchase an additional license and give HotForex a try with it again now that they have added their second UK server.We'l...

Forex Cash Multipler and the Stop Loss Moderator. Made some Global changes after seeing how my adjustments reacted with Thursday and Friday's trades. Am now running with 21 pip start point on Stop Loss Moderator across ALL pairs and EA's. Seemed to better overnight.FCM has a 50 pip SL.Last week, I was averaging around 10 pip wins with an occassional 30 pip win. Not enough to override the 50 pip losses. Last night with the new settings, I had several 40 pip wins. That should help offset bad days on FCM...I hope :-)

Hi Tenix,HotForex was upgrading their servers over the weekend. There are now two Europe Servers. Don't know if it will make a difference for MDP. I've moved MDP to IBFX. I have a chart running on that. Not a good start, I thought I would give Professor53 a try. I am still working with him to see if the results improve. Are you using a UK VPS? That may be a help.Forex Combo is the most expensive EA I have ever had. But it seems to live up to it's track record.Last nights gains all came from USDJPY intervention that affect many pairs that I was in on Forex Cash Multiplier from Friday...

New week. Not sure what happened at HotForex. From what I can tell, they have added a 2nd Europe server. However, on my MT4 platform, all history is gone and All orders that were in play on Friday were closed as if they didn't exist. With no history, I am concerned as to what will happen with MyFXbook charts.I have sent an email to support at Hotforex. And it will be interesting to see their reply.

FYI about HotForex. I have noticed on three separate occasions where the servers went offline for about 10 minutes when there was a market spike. Too Many MDP orders? Its happened to three times in the past week. Once I actually benefitted, but the other two equalled no trade being placed. I run two separate accounts, one from a US location and 1 from a UK location so I know it is not a VPS issue. The same event affected both UK and US systems at the same market watch time.According to tech support they are aware of the issue and working on it.Just an FYI
