Thanks to all for the answer. I do not think the multipling by -1 will do as this will only work if the result is negative, however, what is the result is positive? then, the multiplication's result would be negative

Does anybody know, on an EA, how to get on a math operation ( substraction to be specific) only positive numbers?I am running into the problem that, for example, when the open price less than the close price, and the open price is smaller, the result is negative. I need this result to be positive, on other words, I need to substract ALWAYS the bigger price from the smaller price. Again, if someone knows how to do this, and is willing to share, that would be great.Thank you

hi fxmeter,I attached the EA and it is working fine, thanks, but, it does not open a trade when opposite signal. for instance. If there is a long trade open and a sell signal triggers, the EA must close that long order and open a short one.By doing this, we will make sure we get the most pips on the trade that sometimes goes to 100 pips, and the losses are limited to less than 30 pips, this is amazing!!!!.Let me know if you can do this and thanks a lot.

Hi,Thanks, yes, the idea is that if there is a long position open, when a sell signal, close the buy and open the sell and viceversa, it is how it works?I will test and advise.Thanks!

Hello and thanks. Attached is the indicator, I would like to build an EA based on it, open buy when indicator produces the buy alert and sell when it produces the sell alert, no SL or TP but can be optional and make it to automatically calculate the lots based on equity and percent the trader want to risk.That is it....Thanks !!!
