Don't waste your money on this.You are probably right, this EA placed 6 orders yesterday, all ended up with losses.... I will test one more week, if it keeps this way, I will ask for refund.most trend following systems have low win% and high RRR, that means you will loss around half the time. But winning ea has positive expentency and good profit factor over time. Also, FGB power edition performs better than basic version.

I have tested the EA with tick data from 07 to 12 with good result. So far I like the trading behavior on my live account. It compliments very well with my other EAs. I am using forex-ea-vps.com off europe after several attempts with others. It is very stable and lots dedicated memory for $34/mo.

Based on my backtest with tick data and broker real spread, blow up will happen once every 3 years no matter what settings is used. Besides settings and start lot size, the only way to have a long term succes with martingale strategy is to find a good hedge technique. I have some success with one using forward demo account. But I need some one who can program into FH for backtest.

Hi, Jayman007.Personally, I believe you have to use different strategy and mentality between range trading vs trend following. I see no problem to add fund to ride off period of drawdwon as long as you have emergency stop based on your risk tolerance. I am wondering you could share some more your thoughts on manual intervention during large drawdown like one we just had?

I have noticed almost all forex brokers have max lot size allowed each month. It could be the reason your large lot size order did not get filled or simply your account did not have enough fund after margin calculation. Not enough fund get my level 8 order rejected today. That is one of my reasons to add more fund. My strategy is to divide my account into two and only one of them trading FH. transfer profit to non trading one and move back for level 7 and 8.

Jayman007. I am not sure trending disabled is the cause of poor performance since I got 2.18 and 2.23 profit factor from two live accounts from different brokers with your setting and trend allowed turned on in August. I guess the different starting date and some open orders did not get fileed due to insufficient fund from your side by side account could be the culpit.
