The attached is called a "market sentiment" chart. The black line is current price. Above the price shows the density of PENDING sell orders, and below the price shows PENDING buy orders. These are either buy or sell stops for entry, limit orders for entry, or stop orders for exit. Either way, it totals to the buy and sell pressure below and above current price. This is considered to be the "true" support and resistance. The Creator (of the tool, not the universe!) has told me that the data are from the broker Oanda and updated in real time every 30 minutes. He feels it...

my tools indicate that it will be very hard to hit 1.38 in the short term, based on the current densities of pending buy and sell orders. But i hope it does so to benefit you guys. IT ALL DEPENDS ON NEWS-DRIVEN BREAKOUTS, NOT TECHNICALS!!! I should have taken another larger position last night that would have moved my break even 50% toward a neutral exit. woulda, coulda, shoulda. INSHALLAH and best of luck to all.I have no complaints, but I do think in my short-term observations, that there is some room for PER to tighten up the ship!My best to all.

i confess up front that i do not know how reliable this information is because it is new and i am still studying it. i have posted one chart before, but I can't do it again without the creator's permission. but i will tell you that the current chart shows heavy pending sell orders directly above current price (supply) and about the same for buy orders (demand). Price is trading in a very narrow range between the two. IMHO, it will take news that is bad for EUR and/or good for USD for the pair to break to the downside, and even then, it will be lucky to break the 1.38 price point. ...

I am NOT qualified to give advice, but if I were you, I would try to get out at break even.

Hi Brendan. Here's what I say. Prices go up and down. Often times, drastically and quickly. I have no idea what PER's "system" is, but nobody can criticize their results over the last 7-8 months. Trading anything requires patience, tolerance of drawdown's, missed opportunities, and enough capital and good money management to weather all storms. Have plenty of capital and keep your risk low, and be patient. In addition, be prepared to make your own decisions on exits. That's what I did today. I was up a decent profit so I got out. Others stayed with PER and t...

Dear PER,1.3714 looks like daily support. I have a graph showing actual pending buy and sell orders sitting on broker servers. There are MANY buy orders sitting between current price and 1.3714. I also have my doubts that it will reach 1.3724 anytime soon, based on the buy order density between here and there. I hope I am wrong, and those following you get very wealthy! I went flat this morning before the rebound, so I am happy!!! I will follow you in the absence of any better information. But sometimes, other data will conflict with your advice and then one must decide which to follow....

above price line shows density of pendiing sell orders and prices. these will stop and push price down if reached. below price line shows density of pending buy orders. these will push price up. it does not look like the pair will drop much further in price. I will not share any more of these charts as they are the property of Trade West Forex.

you are wasting your time IMHO. you are right that they are averaging down. that is what all grid and martingale systems do. but here, the pips between trades varies all over the place. they must have some technical trade setup rules for both entries and exits, and they are not going to tell you what they are, so you cannot replicate their strategy.

you are right! there are a lot of strategy variations that can be called Martingale. i apparently referred to the simplest one:A martingale is any of a class of betting strategies that originated from and were popular in 18th century France. The simplest of these strategies was designed for a game in which the gambler wins his stake if a coin comes up heads and loses it if the coin comes up tails. The strategy had the gambler double his bet after every loss, so that the first win would recover all previous losses plus win a profit equal to the original stake. The martingale strategy has bee...

I would call it a variable grid. I only checked 2 baskets and the difference in pips between trades varied between 11 and 25. In a pure grid system, the pip gap would be constant. in a pure Martingale, each trade would be exactly double the size of the previous one (multiplier = 2). In modified Martingale, the multiplier can be smaller or bigger than 2 and may be variable among trades in the basket. PER is not Martingale because the lot size of each trade is held constant. If i am wrong about any of this, somebody please tell me. As of now, I believe that PER is using a variable grid com...

I looked at PER's closed trades, 1 counted 213. I grouped the trades into baskets if they had equal closing dates/times/prices. Sometimes, the closing prices were a bit different, but I assumed that was normal (slippage?). My goal was to see how often large baskets form. The large majority are 1 or 2 trades, I did not count those. I did not count all the 3's either, I stopped counting after 6, but there were several more 3 baggers. But I did count all the baskets with 4 to 9 trades with these results: 4/4, 5/3, 6/1, 7/3, 8/1, 9/1. Note that the larger baskets are very rare, so ...

Risk Free? Really? So far you have demonstrated a good product. However, nothing is risk free!!! With respect, it does not help your credibility to make such claims, and your performance so far is plenty good enough that you do not need to make any questionable claims. I just had to make a comment on this one!

TO PER,I have noticed that you almost always have a TP, but you almost never hit it. Also, I have watched baskets develop significant profits, and then retrace back to a loss, before going positive again and closing. Can you tell us something about how you decide when to exit profitable (or unprofitable) baskets? Thanks in advance.

I have been told by the experienced that making profits in forex with 1:50 leverage is nearly impossible. You have to go offshore. There are only a few brokers left that still accept US residents (Finfx (1:300), Forexfs (1:400)). Otherwise, set up an offshore company with an offshore bank account and then the entire world of brokers will be open to you. Best of Luck.

Hello. I have 2 problems to report. I also missed the 4th trade. Also, I am getting fiilled much later than my friend and trading partner. I have had 29 trades so far and we have compared them. We did not check every one, but at least a dozen. In every single case, I got filled up to 7 minutes after he did. We are both trading from the same dedicated trading computer using the same broker. Of course, this also results in us getting different prices and profits.Regarding the missed 4th trade, I see above that somebody solved the problem by setting a 5 pip tolerance. Is that the best ...

To Profit Empire Robot:Hello. I noticed in your myfxbook trades that you had up to 8 trades open at once. This was 24 lots, $240 per pip, $2400 per 10 pips. Isn't that kind of risky?Do you have a maximum number of levels in a basket of trades? How do you decide how many trades in a basket and the lot sizes?Do you use some kind of automatic trading (a true robot) or are your trades manually managed? Thanks in advance.
