Started up my Strategy #1 using the NanningBob system of trades on a Robot with discretion. I have been asked to set up a managed account by a friend so they can follow my trades. I couldn't find a good broker that I liked, so....Anyways, here are some things that I have implemented in this round: Stop Gap entries that trail for fast moving marketsProfit Protection for multiple entries for recovery to 'X' dollarsa stochastic entry (15/85) on the 260 bars of history a stochastic entry of 45/55 on 14 bars% trailing stop to take profit until it reaches stochastic limitationsI also v...

Ok, back on track! The back to original equity is not as bad as I thought. Of course, I now have to explain that I was playing with the account, 'betting' against the YEN (not the time to do it) and trading manually trying to get pivots which is always a challenge unless you are glued to your screen 24 hours a day. I will not be greedy again and will just take the lumps that come with it, but I was feeling confident that there was going to be a retrace! I think it is happening now unfortunately. I could have just hedged a couple days ago and when price exceeded the 23% retracement...

Click on summary... :)I am actually doing something interesting with this. I am using it in conjunction with the other blessings account. If one currency has more levels open then I would want, then I open one in the other account to match it the opposite direction. Kind of a hedge! :) I will keep open only 1 pair per 500.00 in the account.Gil

Ok, let's recap why my equity is back to original amount. My original strategy worked quite well, I was up almost 38% in 2.5 months. Then, I decided to use this TEST account to try another technique. This technique does really really well in a trend and I made a bit of money, but I didn't manage it properly (too aggressive in testing) and I added 22 pairs which was too much. I then thought the price was going to retrace, so I thought I could use my old strategy to get out of the old positions. I believe where I exited is probably the turn-around, but I couldn't take the risk. T...

Interesting.I have a few of those. :) It would be nice to get a retrace about now. :) EURJPY is the most deadly pair on my opinion as it trends so well without retracing! :) Too bad..Gil

Yes, always interesting to see how soooo many fancy EA's and 'super traders' pop up after every big hit in the market. :)May 19th start date is always suspicious... After an interesting beginning May, so many accounts got deleted on here. :)

Wow, his drawdown was that bad? I didn't see it being that bad. Interesting.Zebra,I have no stoploss, I have no mental anything, I use hedging, and I use MARTINGALE.I wonder if you will be attacking me soon. haha... Zebra attacking anything is kind of a funny picture.I realize maybe you were after him because of his 'managing accounts' for others etc..I guess that is fair to sort out the good with the bad. I put a test system on my account, that is why I have a large drawdown (except 350.00 of it) and it went horribly (technically) wrong and boy is that a learning experience! ...

Steve,Curious on your 'name' for Zulu. I probably lost money with you! Just kidding. I actually did decent but the server disconnects ended up costing me 30% on my account. No joke. It was 'a joke' and they tell you that they will refund you. THEY WON'T! They just lie lie lie...all the way to the bank! I did signals on there also, but just playing around and if anyone did sign up I would have stopped using it, but it was fun to see how accurate their servers are on my signals sent.:)

3 pairs eliminated this morning from the drawdown, 10 more to go (3 of which were drawn down before or I am choosing to take profit on the GBPJPY for my typical technique as I believe it is due to go North). This is fun. Looks like the GBP will be heading up, but seems weak to me. We will see... I am shooting for EUR to go up though, so most likely GBP will follow! EURJPY is a challenge right now as I believe it is ripe for a retrace, but it just keeps dropping. That is the way that pair moves!

Ok, so this week, starting with a -900 draw-down or 22% roughly, and way too many pairs to be traded with my experiment. Why is it when you have a good thing going, you end up playing with it to break it. :)It could take me weeks to get out of this HEDGING issue, but I have done it on a few accounts and it is good practice. I believe I can widdle it down to -350.00 pretty easily, but that last 350.00 could be a challenge so I may just take the hit. I can see several of my currencies will go in my direction this week, but a few I am uncertain so let's find out.To another good week. I a...

Usually when such a huge 'shift' occurs, there will come many challenges with it. Of course that spells opportunity right.. :)At the end of the day, Money means nothing if quality of life goes down. The key is to have both... :) at least for me..Gil

Wow, nothing like a good compliment! :) I would take that as a compliment as it shows me that I can truly believe that great returns are possible. The returns that people have gotten, the lucky strikes of oil, gold, silver that would turn a Kentucky Hillbilly into a Beverly one. :)But, to those who only doubt, you will remain there for a long time. :)

Nonsense!!! YOU ARE TO ALWAYS MAKE LOTS AND LOTS OF PIPS, NO MATTER WHAT! TIRED OF YOU NOT MAKING MILLIONS OF PIPS. HOW DARE YOU SIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Catch the sarcasm..?:)It is so easy to be critical and so hard to create your own systems or learn to trade... Life is funny that way. Imagine if life were the other way, where criticism weren't allowed and people actually had to perform (on their own!)... Responsibility, Honesty, Integrity, Hard Work! Wow, I am getting tired just thinking about it... haha...

I agree. I don't do it either. I usually hold for profit based on, my indicators reversing, 4HR ATR or FIB extension/retracement or just a 'feeling' of uh-oh... :)I believe it will be long, I don't know if I can get to 105.xxx in my head, but considering we hold some money in YEN, (wife Japanese), then I feel it is time to cash out. :) haha... :) I guess I can just hedge right... I personally agree with you about Japan, but I have learned so much about their culture that if they truly wanted to achieve something, they are the 'people who can'. The Chinese will ...

Well, broker looks like Oanda due to leverage 1:20 as nobody seems to use that, so why would this person if he is 'scamming' people to invest with him?I wonder why people would 'lock' everything though if they were for real? Makes no sense to me.... So until he 'unlocks' everything, in my book it is most likely a scam. :(
