Ask yourself why this is just a demo account...Expected profit is 0.4(!) pips per trade on a demo(!) account. Take into account the time lag when you copy trades from this account, take into account the slippage you inevitably get on a real account, and you can be sure to have a negative pip expectancy per trade. Copying this trades from this system via a trade copier is a sure way to lose money.

Hi gusrix, this has nothing to do with brokers being "scam" or legit. Almost all brokers protect themselves against arbitrage (i.e. exploitations of delays in their price feed) through their terms and conditions. Heres an excerpt of AvaFX's T&Cs:"Internet, connectivity delays, and price feed errors sometimes create a situation where the prices displayed do not accurately reflect market rates. The concept of arbitrage and "scalping", or taking advantage of these Internet delays, cannot exist in an OTC market where the client is buying or selling directly from the...

This is an abritrage EA which won't work on a real account. If you nevertheless happen to trade profitably with it, chances are that your broker won't let you withdraw the profit.

Well, a forward test is run on data which has not been used to calibrate the model/EA as opposed to a backtest, which is run on past data, which also might have been used to design and calibrate the EA. Just look around myfxbook, it's full of forward and backtests, and you'll be able to figure out the difference - hopefully.

An idea GMU could profit from (if it's not already implemented and I've overlooked it): Allow the profit target to be stated in pips, relative to the weighted average of the entry prices of the current positions, with the weights being the position sizes. This would avoid that, after periods of huge DD, we get out of the basket with only a small profit. Instead, the larger the DD (and thus the sum of our positions), the bigger the profit target (which will hopefully become the realized profit) in absolute terms.

No trades in the last three weeks? Seems strange to me regarding the trading frequency up to that point.

Boris, could you add magics analysis capability? Currently, one cannot see how each strategy performs individually.

Any idea why the performance of FGB on this account is so much worse than on the official real money account?

How is it possible that the 4% strategy wins over 20pips on Nov 4, while the 2% strategy hits s/l? Manual intervention? If so, this distorts the forward test...
