Publisher will work for a new account, not if you wish to resume publishing an account which was publishing using the auto update method. As to the other issue - make sure you're running the EA as administrator (right click).

Yes, publisher and EA aren't affected. Simply go to settings, click 'edit' for the account in question, then click 'use the EA to update my account' - this will remove the account from auto-update and will allow you to use EA/publisher.

It may seem other services are working well however they do not have the same amount of accounts we do (with auto update about +70k). The more accounts we have from a broker the less frequent updates we can make. So update frequency with other services (using the investor password) will decrease over time therefore you'll get the same issue. Traders wish to have their data updated every 5 minutes and we can guarantee this update frequency only with the EA/publisher.We're making tests to see if can be somehow resolved.

This seems to be a recent addition by MetaQuotes and apparently happens with all brokers now. The more accounts we have with a specific broker, the more disconnections we get.

Simply go to the account's settings, click the "use the EA to update my account" link and connect the EA which only asks for the email/password.

You cannot use a publisher with an auto update account - you must connect the account first using the publisher method - this is by design.

I can assure you we're not trying to "save costs". There is indeed an issue which we're trying to resolve.

Guys, your support is much appreciated! The good news is that it seems the issue is partly on our end as we have so many accounts connecting that some get disconnected automatically by the broker's servers (out of their control). We're working hard to resolve it asap.@togr it takes time for drawdown to be processed for new accounts (usually several minutes). As for the other issues - please send us an email to support (using the contact form or email).Thanks.

Guys, we're working hard on fixing this while checking the issue with several brokers to see how can it be resolved.

We've removed it for now due to the current situation. There is no point of adding accounts with this method if it stops working completely within the next few days.

Not sure if they are actively blocking us or maybe it has something to do with the latest build 500 of MT4, but it seems our servers are getting blocked by different brokers for the last few days (more and more brokers as time goes by). We did contact several brokers which are trying to find out what has changed on their end but it seems to be a global issue with MT4.Not much to do from our end at this time. Thanks for the feedback 😄

Dear members,As you know, we have an auto update option for MetaTrader 4 accounts. With this method accounts update through the investor password. Since a few days, the accounts in auto update mode no longer update every 5 minutes and this is because brokers are blocking our servers. We have tens of thousands of accounts with this method and this is why the account might be still updating in other analysis websites using the investor password (as they have very few accounts which are yet to be noticed by brokers, but eventually will be).If you wish to keep having an auto update option, we sugg...
