20-40% performance fee (with high watermark) for Forex traders

I somewhat understand your point, even though there are good brokers who allow you to open with $200 or less. But here is the thing: even the profitable traders get themselves into trouble when managing money for others (whether publicly or just between friends). So from my point of view aspiring managers need to complete these 3 steps:1) be profitable in demo; this part I believe they should keep to themselves (i.e. no need to publicly show demo accounts)2) be profitable in real money account, which should be with a recognizable broker (i.e. no with MyUnknownSuperBroker)3) be profitable in a ...

The 2 systems posted recently here have just been started (4 days of history, including today):http://www.myfxbook.com/members/coxahfx/fxgrail/350866http://www.myfxbook.com/members/slandrath/ilan-trio-top-fuel/350231To make matters worse, they are Demo accounts. And if that was not enough, the second link already shows a 21.10% drawdown. To anyone thinking they'll get any serious money from investors, I'll repeat the obvious: even if you are not, at least act as a professional money manager. Think of what you would like from him/her, and realize you are shooting yourself in the foot if t...

Ok, I was using the more general interpretation of what Martingale means, and that is to increase the lot size again and again (no matter by how much), in a losing position. Doubling the size was the original way.I agree that being less aggressive than the exponential Martingale helps reduce the drawdown.

Since it's increasing the lot size when the position goes against it, Blessing 3 is a Martingale EA.It's also a grid trader, based on how it makes the decision on where to open additional orders. So it's both grid and martingale.

If you are talking about the PayForLimits, it was introduced about 1.5 years ago, and yes, it's working as advertised.

As of 2012.06.14 00:00 GMT, this account is no longer the master for the trade copier, but rather a client of a master account opened at a different broker.

I made some connections (people that look to be as serious about trading as myself, or even more), but found no profitable system in which I would invest more than test money. Eventually decided to look elsewhere (i.e. stop the search through myfxbook posts), while also working on my own systems/tools.

Tugarin and Popovich = Martingale big time = No thanks! (plus one of them is just a Demo account)Dobrynya = drawdown too big, for too long (some of the currently opened positions are 6+ month old)

I agree with what you said, GMI, and have to congratulate you for replying so politely. So now it's only a matter of time for your system to show its profitability.I'm not checking the systems posted here, nor replying to this thread, too often anymore, both because I'm focused on other things and because the majority of systems posted here turned out to be big time losers.I wish you the best with your trading, and I'll probably check back in a couple of months.

What? You have 4 trades in an account and are now in the 7th heaven because you are in the top of profitable systems? Do you really believe you can repeat the performance of getting 822% gain over and over again? Because in my book what you have here is just a series of 4 lucky over-leveraged trades...Keep doing that for another 96 trades, at least, and then you'll get more than attention, and I'm sure at 144% monthly return you won't even have to post anything, anywhere, since your inbox will be flooded by requests to buy your EA or have you manage accounts. In other words, you mis...

Thanks for the link! I'll revisit the posts in this thread later (in 2-3 weeks, maybe more), and add the systems to my tracking spreadsheet. I took only a quick look at your results and here are my comments: looks ok, but the use of variable lot size (you trade with both 0.1 and 0.2 sizes, plus occasionally have a 0.3 lot size trade) throws off the statistics; I'll have to do a bit of extra work to adjust for the use of the higher lot sizes.

Not really. Questions 6 and 7 are not mine, but of someone who copy-pasted my list, and adjusted it a bit. And in that new list, questions 6 and 7 cannot be answered from the trading history; maybe if the manager would have provided that info in his "bio" notes?Anyway, your lack of willingness (or time) to answer the questions (which is the common case, if you look at the answers given in this thread), gives a poor message to the potential customers. That's actually another reason why stopped looking for managers on myfxbook: the time required to find the really good ones, both ...

Thanks, I also got your private message and marked it for following up!As per my post above, I'm not looking for money managers anymore. However, I will take a look at your results, since it's just fair, given that I did not announce the withdrawal of my offer until now.
