This EA is very very very broker dependent.Birt´s boker´s price feed produces many more trades than Pipjet´s official accounts and my own account´s number of trades are a pitance compared to Birt´s.I suspect that it is not just the spread offered, I have been following the spread on my account and it seldom goes above 3 pips during trading hours, so it is not just the spread.Perhaps it is just too early to tell, let´s see how the rest of the year develops.

There are a few commercial EAs whose real time execution comes very close to what you get from a back test and are truly profitable, but there are just a tiny number of them in the market and they are based on the nature of the pair traded, you still have to keep on optimizing them but they are proving to be resilient and produce a stable return. FFM seems to have been taylor made to do well until Dec. 2011 and from that point it just crashed. There was no amount of optimizing that could revive it. MDP was very profitable but it was an all out assault on the brokers so they reacted by wid...

And if you put together high latency and slippage then you just do not stand a chance. You would be better off putting your money on a pile, selling tickets for all to watch and then burning it.

I like the EA but try your invitation on a VPS with high latency. As this EA has become more popular, more people are flooding the recommended brokers making it useless. Well, I guess this is just part of the race. At least I saw it comming and I had reduced the risk to the bare minimum and I just got a scratch. This EA is great, but it requires that the execution and modification of trades be well under 1000 ms, anything over that and you are just burning your money. The latency of any VPS that you can measure by a ping is misleading because it does not represent the true speed u...

I had losses using ThinkForex VPS.All the measured times were over 2000 ms, the highest being just under 3800 msAverage execution time: 2635 msAverage open time: 3775 msAverage modify time: 2544 msAt least the VPS is besides the banks servers, that helps a lot.Awful.

Today Birt´s account lost 10% of its value using his private broker, I had a 0.8% loss using ThinkForex. This spike retraced but it looks like it did not retrace like MDP was waiting for.My opinion is that competition to place the same trades at the same time is getting too tight.

I have had it on since Monday, I am using ThinkForex VPS.This EA seems to be broker dependent, can´t see why since it is not a scalper. Other multicurrency EAs give very much the same trades regardless of what broker you use.

This EA is strange, right now I have two open trades that your system has open as well, only they are the opposite, sell AUDUSD and you have buy AUDUSD and buy GBPUSD and you have sell GBPUSD and you have a sell EURUSD trade that I do not have.

I would like to ask all of you if anyone is experiencing difficulties when activationg MDP on MT4.I am asking this because I have no problems at all when I use it on my home PC but on the VPS it is a different story, it becomes impossible to activate when there is very little price movement. Thanks,

5% a month on average and steadily year after year is an excellent achievement.

Yes, EAs have to be updated, but we still have not seen any of the drawdowns that the backtests show and did not care about because we were looking at the 2, 4, or 10 year equity curve with an upward move. Still, I would also like this EA to remain updated.

The name of this game is SURVIVAL. We have to survive to fight another day and the only way to do that is by keeping the number of trades and the size of the trades below proportional to the account size.People who try to become wealthy within one year and push the EAs to the limit will find big gains, true, but also a few huge losses that can wipe out their accounts or will reduce their accounts to insignificant values. It is better to go slowly and build your account over a few years, that way you will catch the overall positive of the EA.Just a few words of wisdom from an old man.Greeti...

@MetaCoderMy VPS has 2ms of latency to the broker, how can Java reduce it?. You still have to go through a broker to give it your trade and they will pass it as a market order (ECN). My total latency, broker+banks is less than 1 second. Can you reduce it signifincantly from a technical standpoint or do you depend on using little known brokers?

@primevaleaFor this comming week:1 VPS and MDP_EURUSD + MDP_USDJPYHow many EAs you run at the same time depends on what resources you have available for your VPS and how demanding the EAs are, but a dual core with 1GB ram should be OK for three EAs.The account William is running is a demo one, but my real account runs similar trades and some times better trades than his demo account. Other sites are running this EA on real accounts and trades are also similar, seldom do I get the same results. I may find that the trades were placed at the same time but entry and exit prices are slightly...

Six trades 3 losses for -$9.70 and three wins for +$49.50.This EA manages losses well and lets the profits run, once it has bagged some money it will protect it. Yes, this month has not been profitable but look at the previous wins, any other EA would have fallen to the abyss.
