I have one for my own accounts. But I can't exit this and have a happy investor. I have to prevent this from happening, have to deal with this before it starts by bringing the balance down constantly when appropriate, but again can't do it at these trade sizes. It's not good enough to make money. You have to make it in such a way that the investor will understand it.

Kicks Buffet's butt, but who'll risk a bar on a demo? So 1000% per annum on 1k, here we come....On pairs I'll trade up to 24. These were in preparation for a European master account, and the pairs were what those investors would expect to see. The new account that arrives on this master will always be 10k euro, and although I can trade the 6 figure account, I can't trade the new account coming in. Just can't make it work on these trade sizes. The minimum trade sizes is 100 times to big.

The diff is the draw down. On this account equity swings can be 30% in a day. On a $1 mil account that be 30% / 10 =3% / 10 =0.3%, so suddenly it's a manageable figure. I see it, I wait for the high swing and close out say 30% of the portfolio. No real risk. Equity swings drop to 0.1%If you have $100 and lose 10%, you have $90. If you take $90 and add 10% you have $99, not $100. To recover from a 50% equity swing I have to make 100%. I can't allow the swings. 30% in a day is 3 bad days and I'm out. 0.3% is a year of bad days. So now I can play performance, how much do I want? I go ...

I just browsed by another super successful system. The trades were locked as usual.So here's one with the trades open. This system is not viable. It will fail on this amount. I can make it work $1 000 000 plus with separate MM software. But anything less than that is not viable. Look at the stats. Gain 241.99%, Abs gain 241.96%.Actual gain is 42% in a month, blistering fast, but not long term sustainable. I expect to be margin called in a week or so. I guess I could always TP out, but that wouldn't help prove the point. And here is why "professionals" have issues with EA'...

Rasul,Not sure what you can do. I don't think there is an EA that can trade $60 back to $250 and if it did it wouldn't be worth anyones hassle, but yours.

Other thing is speed. Sometimes my account is up 0.5% I want to take TP, by the time I've closed my trades manually the profit is gone, with an EA if I go to the fridge for example, there's a spike I get back I tp'd already, never even saw the spike. With manual trading I'd have lost that opportunity which mostly lasts seconds...

holdmax,You're missing the points of EA's. Not all of them have to have trading functions. You can trade with full discretion using EA's . Doesn't have to be fully auto, but you don't need to sit around computers all day either with a finger hovering over buttons. They can simply also be tools that automate the more tedious tasks of trading. Like trying trying to Tp 30% of an account on 24 pairs. I just drag and drop. Or if I you to go sleep I set it to tp at x.Orders is another thing, 24 pairs. I can't handle that. But I can load an EA to do that, set it to start trad...

To be honest I don't know how to do it. Not sure if a goal based broadcasts will work either...bit like Rubic cube for me at the moment. Great toy, but not sure how it works yet.

Still struggling with the broadcasting though. Some people complain i send to much, others say to little and then what I send isn't really what people look for.I mean who is looking for #eurusd $$ other than a hardcore trader or pip counts? Need some sort of goal reporting, like I just did $100 or my portfolio just made 1% or something like that. Broadcasting say every x trade in a $ value or the portfolio value or something, i don't know.

Do a facebook page, I use yakkit to connect twitter to the facebook page only, so only page fans get the update, not friends.It's new stuff. Only been able to do it for a few weeks. Link is real ugly though and if you use bitly to shorten it gets even uglier as facebook sends out warning. My blog posts go to twitter, twitters sends to facebook, plaxo, linked-in and buzz, probably 500 000 000 users than can find my trades and comments between that lot, if it isn't more....The potential of that, a grood track record and a fully automated system. The mind boggles.

You know "Live", the rock band? They went there. Played in a bar. In US they fill stadiums. That still blows my mind. Imagine stumbling around the place looking for a beer, you hear some tunes and walk into the bar to find one of the biggest rock bands in the world playing...Night life is awesome, but to participate properly you need serious cash. Easy to blow $1k in a night there....

I don't mean overall direction, but in MT you can for example set it to only do long or short trades, when you have your overall direction can you think of a systematic way to do your entries?
