I agree, the market is the best educator. You cant progress as a trader unless you're live trading(after learning a strategy and doing due diligence of course)

It really is all you need to focus on is being a better version of the trader you were yesterday and them small inches will soon mount up to a large difference

So true its when traders overleverage or try to make much more than their plan allows it gives to major issues and eventually a downfall

That is the best way to be. If you have your trades managed you can make sure you dont have any undue uncomfort when trading. It is the uncertainty that gets most traders making bad decisions

It is definitely something to consider but if you're on lower timeframes and not position trading i think its something to be weary of rather than that lots of heed from. It is key to analyse the markets in a probabilistic way with technicals for me when day trading. I suppose it all depends how you would like to trade the markets

Preparation is so unrated in this business most come to the computer and literally sit and decide what to do only when they sit down. Its just so key to have a plan and that takes a lot of pressure off how hard forex can be

Its such an old adage but really is what you can afford to lose. Like having pressure of losing too much or over leveraging is a recipe for disaster imo

Completely agree, i cant see any other option. Money will be flooding into safe havens until some stability comes about. Dollar will only get stronger for me IMO

Mar 08, 2022 at 08:01
A lot of good information i personally cant see one positive to not having a stop loss. Yes it gives the trade room to move but its too hard to define then. It also makes the losses so much bigger than the wins and thus only take a few bad trades to wipe out months of good work

Casinos are a game were the edge of probabilities are in the 'House's' favour. In forex once you stick to rules and management that edge is in your favour. That distinction means everything

I think a slightly better phrase would be fighting with themselves while learning forex. It is such a personal battle and once you have won that you are most of the way there to being successful

Success rate is also not as important as it may seem. You need to analyse your trades on a risk to reward basis and what return you get. someone could have a 30% success rate and be more profitable
