Fancy Bot is a breakout EA, much like Robin, Invest Bot, and Growth Bot. It didn't suffer from as much drawdown as the last two, but it still has a weakness on long fast moving bars when they reverse. The stops often trigger and it continues the original move. The good news is the vendor is working on a fix for this issue. He has been quite responsive and active in the DonnaForex forums.

A good source of information on Fancy Bot is http://www.donnaforex.com/forum/index.php?topic=9813.0 What I can say about Fancy Bot is the developer is very responsive. He has already addressed the issue that the bot's have with long candles and will be releasing an update. The truth is though that the breakout bots may have reached their lifetime. There are enough people using them now that it can be very profitable for the big guys to target the stop/loss of these bots. I would like to see an update as well, but I wouldn't hold my breath. The vendor is the same as Growth Bot. Growth Bot can't even be restarted without losing control of its trades. The vendor couldn't be bothered to fix it over the last 3 years. I trade a number of breakout bots but have been very lucky so far. I missed out on the bad weeks with Growth Bot, Invest Bot, Robin Vol, and Fancy Bot. Through manual intervention and a few well placed additional trades, I'm actually up 8% last month and 13% this month. That said, I have also temporarily turned these bots off. I...

How so? Out of 30 trades, I've had 3 losses. There have been no surprises so far with the EA and it is still profitable for me. All trading has losses. If you can't handle losses, you shouldn't be trading.

After the smoke cleared, I lost 13.8% for a loss of $3,209.52. It recovered $571.61 with a few wins though. The final damage was a loss of 9.9 %. Not a happy day, but to be expected. Losses seem to be about 4 times the wins, so it takes about 4 wins to recover from one loss. Trading a max of 3 orders, can equal 3 losses per currency. So a 9.9% drawdown is acceptable, provided it doesn't start to fall below an 80% win rate.

Same here, 22 trades and 22 wins. There were a few nail biters though. This last weekend for example, two trades were open and they went deep in the red, only to recover. Very happy so far

I had 3 trades on April 1 and one trade just now, same as on the Official account. I'm using FinFX ECN Pro. So far, my trades match the Official account

Be very careful with this EA. The risk/reward is not justified as the gains are small and the losses large. The reference account is a sham. It shows a profitable EA. What the developer is doing to make the account look better is turning the EA off in unstable market conditions, thus avoiding any losses during these times. In this manner the results are non verifiable as nobody gets the same trades on a consistent basis.
