To answer your question... All 3 of your questions can be answered if you look at my stats.. :) As for saying eventually the market will catch up to me. That is like saying "Eventually you will die!" Well it is what you do before you die which counts. Scalping entails taking HIGH PROBABILITY POSITIONS. Which is why the sl is small, along with the points which you take. I for one on avg have a sl of about 5 to 8 points. My entries are usually the turning point of trend reversals on the 1m chart. Depending on what the 1h says, I won't hold the profit for very long. Yet none the les...

oH no forexpipcatcher. I was up as much as 650% in this demo, trading the way I would normally. I then got access to a real account (which I have attached for everyone to see), and I just let the demo run. Made no sense to focus on the demo, when I have a real account to work with. As for risk to reward, I don't use that theory at all. Risk to reward is nothing more then a theory which creates extreme bias. Based on my belief. EUR/JPY had that mega sell of based on news. Which means your risk to reward theory would of gone out the window, because of something you didn't expect. For ...

Well much needs to happen for that to occur. I'm honestly not a swing trader. I'm a scalper.

39 mins later and we are less then 20 points away from the tp number 1. What a nice pullback by eur/jpy. I think we will bounce up a bit from here before the tp is reached.

Ok I see. Thank you for taking the time to explain it to me. :) Best to withdraw everything you have profitted, since your system is so good. ;)

Well that is just it. Look at it for the past month. It has WEAKEND by more then then 1200 points based on its current price. This of course is a meer profit taking. The higher tf shows it to being on a sell mode, but it has yet to pass the BEAR breakout price. 118.79 IS THE BREAK breakout price, so actually we are under it right now. First tp will be 118.08 for the short term. and second tp is 117. 318

I am sorry Friedcatfish. There is no way possible that if you started with 500usd and a leverage of 500:1 that you could buy 10 lots. Think about it. 10 LOTS means your making 100 usd per point. Which means with a 5 point loss you would margin call. You would only be able to do that with 2000:1 leverage or HIGHER. :) That is why I said something was fishy about these stats.
Why 2-10% monthly return is far Fetched!

As to the topic which the first post touched on. Many of us have misconceptions as to what we believe is the correct way to trade. Scalpers, and swing traders all have bias. Just as how one Swinger can call Long. The other can call Short. Yet we both have the exact same chart. Look at today for an example. A very low trading range in which we did not pass two pivots on either eur/usd or eur/jpy. Although Mondays are the lowest ranged trading days. Most SWINGERS were not able to profit more then 4% today alone. Scalpers on the other hand would of had a field day trading either pair. Most peopl...

Bisho. I haven't posted in 18 hours on this thread. All of my post are on the eur/jpy. Yet as I CREATED this thread, I shouldn't be able to post as many times as I like?

They key with the positions I take are. Cutting your loss by no more then 1 fib level. Which on avg is 6-8 points. Once you do that, you keep enough free margin, and you aren't bias towards the direction of your loss.

We have had a very pull back, and on the higher time frames, eur/jpy is tuning into a bull. :)
