Just an update. I made my very first withdrawal of profit today from my RoboForex account and it only took 8 seconds for it to reflect on my Skrill account. So fast I can't believe it. I can completely say now that they are really legit.

That's where consistency comes in. You can be making 100% a month for 6 months or maybe years then loses 100% in a day. Bye capital.What you need is a good strategy that can possibly give a consistent return. It would always be better to go with the side of cautiousness and lower profit but safe capital than with aggressiveness with huge returns but could lead to a blown up account.

Hi @Bradley88, most beginners starts with the EURUSD pair as it more predictable on some sense. I prefer to stick to the majors because the spreads are low as well.

The problem here is it's based from your own experience and it may not be the same with others. Though I understand the importance of SL. As I've mentioned before it would depend on the strategy you use and how focused you are when trading. I do have an account with a stop by overall % of drawdown on all trades but not on a per trade basis. But I have another account where I use SL on all trades. It really based from your backtest, research, and forward testing. It's also a personal preference I guess.

Stick to the majors as others said. The spread is very low. I would avoid pairs that is so much volatile at the beginning as it will reach stoploss levels faster.

Let me copy what I have said on the other thread.I think I have already explained this before that the leverage doesn't matter unless you trade a big size or a lot of trades that will affect the margin % on your account. When using proper position sizing, you only need to know how much are you willing to risk per trade and the total pips from the entry price to the stoploss price. Leverage doesn't matter at all. If let's say you wanted to open a trade that will be a 50-pip stoploss and you are willing to lose 500 dollars, then you can open a lot size of 10 dollars per pip or 1 lot ...

Of course, you would want the EA that will give you the biggest profit in the long run. Though, it might be best to have multiple EAs to diversify. I will always go for consistency rather than getting big profits here and there.
