(RTTNews) - Statistics Canada will release FCanada jobs data for April at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the loonie rose against its major counterparts.
The loonie was worth 1.4858 against the euro, 99.49 against the yen, 0.9068 against the aussie and 1.3489 against the greenback as of 8:25 am ET.
