The big drop on 9/11 was my mistake. The German Supreme court ruled on backstopping the ECB Euro bonds. I know it was coming. Everyone was waiting for the decision with bated breath. I should have shut the system down.

I am disappointed with Kangaroo. They have not been trading the EURUSD for some time. They say they will not trade the EURUSD until things settle down. I can't wait 10 damn years for things to settle down. The AUDNZD does not trade enough to make any profit to speak of. So why bother? I rolled the dice and traded the EURUSD. it hums along then gets kicked in the teeth on one bad trade, hums along, gets kicked in the teeth. I am shelving Kangaroo until further notice. Something else will replace this tomorrow. Stay tuned.

I am running Forex Hacked 2.4 AND Kangaroo on the AUD/USD pair. I paid for Kangaroo, I may as well use it. it doesn't trade very often on the one pair but the trades are generally winners. Bloody good idea. I'm tempted to do something similar but I hear that Kanga doesnt play too well with other EAs. I guess we'll see.

We'll see Juham. Hacked just runs on the GBPUSD pair so there isnt alot of interference. The good thing is that they wont draw down at the same time as they shouldn't trend at the same time. I can turn one or the other off pretty easily f the other needs themargin.

I set a custom start date of 11/8/12. That's the day I turned off Kangaroo's EURUSD. See note on 11/10/12.

The account took a pretty hard hit on the GPBUSD run of the past couple weeks. Your leverage is so important. You can run for months thinking your trades are sized appropriately, and then...WHAM! I think I was 2x over leveraged. its going to be a long road back to try and recover this account, but we will try. I am going to run the EURUSD on Hacked instead of the GBPUSD this time. Jayman only runs the pound dollar on his but the Euro Dollars been doing well in my licensed Hacked account, so we'll see.

For my own historical records, this account traded Kangaroo through 11/9, using both pair. EURUSD runs clobbered it twice. I began trading Forex Hacked (educated) on 11/9 with Kangaroo but only using its AUDUSD. My risk setting on Hacked was too high. I think I now know the right risk level for hacked educated for a lower risk account setting but I'm not going to be able to do much with a couple grand, so I am going to try and build the account back to the 10,000 starting level using Forex Envy Ultra. I know its a bit of a gamble, but...

I am going to run this at a risk of .05. Ultra at risk 1.0 is very profitable, if your timing is right, but given that the timing is only known after the fact, I will run at .5 to try and build the account back reasonably quickly. I am setting a custom start date and will not be withdrawing profits so this will be an all or nothing run. Once (if?) I grow it back to 10,000, we may do something else with the account.

Yea, I'm doing an all or nothing on this one. I will learn from it too. It is not at all typical for me but it is a very small account, for me anyway. Its less than 2% of my portfolio, so yes, I am rolling the dice, on this one only. All the other real systems are getting withdrawals weekly and will continue to do so.

I initiated the freeze after take profit mode on this. As I think about things a little more, and knowing how quickly things can turn against you, I am now concerned about running ULTRA on a FinFX account. The profit transfers have to happen manually by someone in their back office and it sometimes takes 2 days for these to happen. 2 days is an eternity with ULTRA. I'm going to let this one stop and restart the account in Traders Way.
