I'm not concerned as much with the quick access since I will be managing performance on expectancy.

Clarification:IF there is a trade in the market and an opposite signal occurs, THEN at the time the entry rules are fulfilled the market order would be closed, and new position would be filled at market in the direction.ex: Currently long E/U 2 lots... Receive a short entry signal... SELL STOP placed for 4 lots based on the entry rules (X pips below signal candle low)... So the example is working with pending ordersI hope my explanation was clear.Sorry for the delayed response by the way... had a whole bunch of work dump on me at once.

I have been wanting to add automated trading to my arsenal for some time now. I've been meaning to learn to code but, I just don't have the time right now and I'd like to start putting my EA concepts into action. Besides someone with experience would generate cleaner code than I would probably come up with. Below is my summary and attempt at a logic description to describe this EA. If you are interested please let me know by response here or PM, whichever you feel is appropriate. All in all I would like to develop about 20 EAs to be managed as a portfolio rather than trying to crea...

Sorry people but this account is manipulated. The only thing it's good for is stirring up interest and getting a bunch of views and some new traffic to the website. The name says all you need to know... FOREX IS BIZ

Well the FXOpen MT4 seems very unreliable to me; huge lag times, no fills on orders, and I haven't been able to connect for much too long, now. All other programs and MT4s work fine on the same computer. Definitely needs improvement.

Could be. It is very strange. Right now the same order I was referencing above is now over 23 pips below bid price with spread of 1.3. On the 1H chart there are 5 closes and 5 opens well below the sell stop and over 6 hours of time where the market was/is below the order. Maybe a rep from FXOpen could explain. It's definitely less than impressive... Check out the screen shot.

I'm curious how the bid price can move 18 pips below a sell stop order and not be placed in the market when the spread is supposedly 1.6 pips? And, we're not talking about a spike; the 1H candles closed and opened 18 pips below the sell stop. Anyone have an explanation for this? This is my first experience with FXOpen and any ECN MT4.

I just noticed, they have an "Asset Manager" section at the bottom of the sales page. More HYPE! Oh, you've been getting a lot of requests from asset managers to license your B.S.... it must be good. lol What a joke.

The post above also contains the detailed transaction report and equity curve. The spike you see is a deposit followed by a withdrawal, it is not trading related. See the report to confirm it.

You don't say. Better hurry and buy one before the last 50 go away! Bwahahaha!!!"GET The Indisputable 3 Best Auto-Income Forex Robots In The World" ... Yeah, I'm pretty sure I can find some people to dispute that with live account data. Hell, I can dispute that claim with their own account. You know, the Fusion account that mysteriously disappeared from their lab area... I attached a screen shot of that Fusion MT4 account using the investor password. So if they're so transparent, why did this account disappear without explanation??? That's not transparency, it's b...

Good stuff! I gave FRWC a chance with the refund. Couldn't get it out of them. I don't think they even read the emails you send most of the time. I also copied
[email protected]
as well in addition to many other email addresses that I guessed they may have like contact@, sales@, info@, etc. Any actual response I got only directed me to the refunds@ email which either bounced due to full inbox, or sent me back an automated response. To everyone who hasn't attempted a refund yet. Initiate your refund through Plimus by going here: http://home.plimus.com/ecommerce/buyers...

Well said. Very true. You can Set an EA to always buy or sell on candle open with that RR and you will achieve similar results.

lorak,You can learn a lot from tinkering, hopefully you learn some good stuff. I respected the FRWC's original concept however, a few things rubbed me the wrong way. The first and biggest, was the first fusion account that they had posted for a few days. Remember, the live account that was controlled by FRWC and trading .02 fixed lots on FXCM MT4? Well, when that one mysteriously disappeared with absolutely no explanation, I thought that was very counter to their mantra of transparency, and a new revolution in the way of selling/marketing EAs. (e.g. no hype, and full disclosure) So where d...

"my challenge to all of you with half a brain, roll up your sleeves and help figure this out and we'll all be better off !!! :-)"I don't take challenges where the potential loss outweigh the benefits. Good luck to all who do 😉 "those that can't take the $1000 loss should consider seeking a refund"I would hope that everyone trading could take a $1,000 loss (eventually at least). After all the more you lose the more you win, if you're doing things right. The point is not taking a $1,000 loss. The point is, are the FRWC EAs worth $1,000. I personally don...

No worries, you're not being a prick. It's always good to think about things, and reevaluate them from time to time. You said, "in general you control risk with good money management..." I disagree. With no S/L your true risk is Margin call OR potentially infinite. Infinite loss is not realistic though, so margin call it is.If I were trading with no S/L I would have to calculate a typical Risk by the largest movement in price that occurred in the pair being traded during a 24 hour period, multiplied by position size. That would take into account a large movement and loss of co...

Money Management is not the same as Risk Management.Risk management is simply managing risk. (e.g. Identifying your maximum risk) So, basically position sizing with relation to the maximum acceptable movement of price in the direction that you don't want it to go. Also, any trading time restrictions, or currency pair restrictions due to high spread, negative roll, volatility, liquidity, etc.Ex1: If I want to risk 1% of a $100k account and my stop is placed at 100 pips on a pair with a pip cost of $10 I could risk 1 standard lot, 10 minis, or a volume of $100k. Ex2: If my stop was at 50 pip...

Risk of loss, exactly! That's how I evaluate systems. Risk first , then profit potential. A lot of people make the mistake of looking at profit potential first, and giving risk an after thought. As far as not agreeing, there's really nothing to agree/disagree about. The fact is that HiRider places Stop Losses (actual risk) and Take Profits (Potential Profit). These numbers break down into a Risk to Reward ratio which is either acceptable or not. Below are the S/L & T/P of all HiRider Strategies:S1: S/L= 100 ; T/P= 7 RR= 14.3 : 1 S2: S/L= 210 ; T/P= 12 RR= 17.5 : 1 S...

HiRider has a RR of 20:1!!! That is just disaster waiting to happen. So, every 20 winning trades that HiRider has can be offset by 1 loss. That is not a good system. Sure it may be profitable during specific periods of time but, over the long haul, I wouldn't put one more dime into it. Also, Hirider will open multiple orders using the same strategy so all those little similar wins can easily be huge losses and crush an account. I have seen 10 trades open by HiRider all with the same strategy. If that strategy would have taken a full loss the account would be less more than 2,000 pips. Now ...

That's not correct. It's possible to make pips and lose money! Equity is important but, it's not the only thing that matters. Analyzing equity alone is very dangerous, and a good way for people to blow their account, or invest their money with someone who will blow their account. You should look at a combination of things:- Obviously we trade to make money so an acceptable ROI should be considered.- Then you should look at risk that's taken which is a combination of many things so, the best (easiest) way to analyze that would be to look at the average loss/gain as a % of equity...
