Thanks BobAbout Demos and real and realistic return, I totally agree. A good trader should aim 20-25% return on yearly basis, which is realistic.About real account, I would like to see uploaded on myfxbook, with verified properties.I am a little bit septic about EA-s. On real account is much harder because trades takes place on real, there is time lag, price slippage, re-quotes, etc.I've seen EA-s that are profitable on long term, but they are very rare and I believe are mixed, not fully automated.

If you want to know about platforms, Trade Station is made for manual trading. Don't feel the need to comment for MT4 here (very famous).In my opinion best platform is NinjaTrader. Made for both, manual and EA-s. Also very easy to code EA-s than in MT4 but it is a little bit costly. Some brokers offer free for use for "big" accounts.

Sorry, I'm glad to see a woman here. I'm not sure, i thought the highest DD should occur on Nov 10 not Nov 24. Actually on Nov 24 equity and balance was even. If high DD did occur on that day, according to myfxbook data on that day: either you did fund you account or there actually there is an error. Dear @kivatrading Forex is not easy, in fact is very hard.Before you learn how to trade in general, and learn the platform you should star demo.If you trade manually, then MT4 is not a good platform, try Trade Station 2 if your broker offers. Most of the brokers do.Good luck

Yes, it must be an error, your DD can't be higher than 2%. Just kidding :)Highest DD i could calculate is on 10 nov. Equity +47.38%, balance -62.62%, DD on that date 74.63%. Simple math. This doesn't mean that the DD 99.89% is calculated incorrectly. Yes, but i assure you I get also positive slippage. As I said with my type of trading price slippage is not an issue. But a big one for EA-s. People who trade with EA-s (most people that I meet here do) should be concerned about price slippage.In my 5 years of trading, maybe i was lucky but biggest negative price slippage was on last ECB rate cut, on average i lost about 55pips, stop was 52.5pips. So I lost double. I risk max 1.5% of account in one pair and that day I lost about 3%. But I was well aware about ECB rate decision, so on big events such that one I'm out or I'm on a hedge p...

I would like to add something about my experience on price slippage. As a matter of fact, it's not a big issue if you trade manually.My broker is FXCM (don't want to promote them or anything) and they also offer price slippage for the trader, not only against him. I trade manually with fixed entry order, stop loss and target profit.When entry order and target profit is hit, there might be positive slippage, and negative slippage can happen only when stop loss is hit. So 2 out of 3 cases there might be positive slippage, which is good.On the other way, price slippage is a big issue when...

@Stevo0610 Yeah, I am aware of the risks because I've blown two accounts. I learned risk management the hard way. But with strict risk management the opportunities are high.Professionally I work as Risk Management Analyst at a Slovenian Bank. As a bankier basically we are speculating on savers money that the borrowers will repay the loans. Not here to argue that FX is safer that term deposit, cause it's not. But every investment is risky.

What I liked about your strategy is that equity is almost always higher than balance. Meaning that you try to let profits run.Try multiple targets will low leverage.
