. tp is open.since i believe the trend has changed, i will look to close this position as soon as possible and re-enter the opposite direction.

lost about 80 pips on the last trade, too bad as it was up about 80 pips before reversing..looking for a new setup to enter.by the looks of it, it is indeed appears the the bear usd trend is over.

what kind of api are you looking for chris?the onc you've referred to is actually a reserved server api - you don't have any access to it as a client. there is however the mql language which you can write expert advisors with, and it is supported with any metatrader broker.there is also an api with oanda - pure java/c (perl also i think?) but it will require you to program everything from the start as it doesn't have any readily available functions, unlike the mql language.

managed to close all positions for a small profit..that one was close 😐.spotted a good short setup in the gbp/usd:<a href=http://www.myfxbook.com/files/biz0101/48.png target='_blank'><img src=http://www.myfxbook.com/files/biz0101/48.png /></a>as you can see, there's a pullback to the major channel's support which is now resistance, and also a new channel forming downward, creating an excellent opportunity for a short.stop loss can be just above the last high, about 1.6600, target is currently open, but as you might guess, it's way down 😄

ok, no one was probably expecting that 😲i think the dubai crisis is just enough to reverse the trend on the dollar into a bullish one.my positions are still all open with practically no stop losses - i'm waiting for an opportunity to close and reverse all positions.not too worried about having no stop losses as i'm trading very conservative and will close the positions if the drawdown reaches 2% of my account .
Your opinion needed - regarding my choice of indicators

i agree with you metall, i believe that most of the successful traders do not use indicators at all.Street Pipz, i've just noticed your chart, and quite frankly i would like to know how are you handling so many indicators and so many different colors 😱? i've stared at it for 10 seconds and already felt a migraine starting to work its way😀.

entered a short on the usdcad @ 1.0610i know these are all usd correlated, but i'm testing the other pairs as i've noticed that different results can be produced even on correlated pairs.

i wouldn't be so happy if i were you, you're obviously over-trading.you could have lost the 25% instead of gained. how would you feel then after losing 25% of your account in one single day? if for sure wouldn't call it wise money management.

not much happening today, i think the market is preparing for the continuation of its up trend.what might suggest it? the usdjpy is dropping like a rock, so i believe it's only a matter of time until the rest will follow.still holding my long gbpusd position.
