Hi there.There are threads where you can go advertise your trading accounts, but with stricter rules.I would like to invite traders to show off their accounts here if they pass certain criteria.The criteria :1) The account must be real - no demo's. (please do not argue here that it is the same as a live acc. etc - the idea is not to engage in any arguments)2) The account must be verified (please do not come and defend your unverified-but-want-to-participate account - there will simply be no interest)3)DD must not be higher than 40% - (please. Once again. No justification for your above 40%...

You are absolutely right. This is not the place to sell. And it is just my way of filtering the good ones from the bad by seeing if it is verified or not. If you can't take the time to verify, I cant take the time/interest to watch. But good for you, I hope you sell your 5000 units.I am unsubscribing from this thread as I feel I have made my point. If you feel that it is still necessary to defend your unverified account, I don't want to be part of it.I will leave you with this bit of advice - your advertising would carry much more weight if you had a couple of real (even cent $5) verif...

I have noticed here, that if you ask why a system is not verified - the ones the question is directed at will quickly tell you that they are not selling anything - hence they do not need to verify (why bother participating then)There are numerous such systems here, and if it can't be verified I can't be bothered to add it to my watch list and what you say around here has absolutely no impact on anything. All that I will consider as truthful are greetings.

I am not with you? out of the choices above I had to choose which meant the most to me? Is that what you wanted? When deciding to follow an account I consider many criteria and not just one or two (as above) maybe I misunderstood your question. I just chose the one I would look at - I would definitely not follow it.#1, #2 and #4 would probably be my next check, but alone they would mean nothing - I would have to see much more.I hope this answers some questions and some of my weirdness. It is just my opinion that #4 mean nothing to me.

When I look at an account, I firstly look at the age of the account, the drawdown, then longs won/shorts won. If it passes those, I will move on to profit/sharpe ratio, lot sizing (look for martingales) then withdrawals & verifications. Just the way I look at things.

I agree with @ChrisMuzhik ..I wouldn't fork out more than 5 pounds on a broker that is unheard of. Especially in the world of forex - way too many scams.To quote @LuckyCarter "Wish you luck man. Hope FCA will help you. I will wait for result!"

The idea is to find systems that are worth watching - but as you say, too many people trying to flog their bs here. That is why I am so picky. Finding a good system proves a difficult task, by good I would say :*1 year +*Low dd - depending on the amount traded with. (50% on 1k using 0.5 lots for example is not bad, the dd can be lower if lot sizes are)*verified*consistent growth (something realistic like 5%/month will do)*real*not martingale (I know this is frowned upon by many, these are just my requirements - please I do not want to engage in explaining why this is a requirement)

I have been watching Alexey's account for a while now. Yes, it trades infrequent, but it looks good, dd went up with a recent trade, let's face it 55% on 69k is more than 30k in dd. But I like the profitability. 86% is good - Yes, one bad trade can wipe all that, but it has been going for +/- 11 months now and that never happened. I guess that the system trades infrequent because it is very selective before taking a trade.Alexey I will pm you to ask all these questions and a whole lot more.
