I see your point.Do you have any timeline? When are you going to start trading it live for example? As that would be the ultimate test.

I'm getting tired with all these posts looking for money managers. Why not use the systems sections? http://www.myfxbook.com/systems

I'm using Myfxbook's news http://www.myfxbook.com/streaming-forex-newsForexfactory's news are based on user submissions which are moderated, so they are posted with quite a delay.

Steve, I'm assuming you're going to sell the system? You're probably not the first trading with this technique, however aren't afraid of the dilution effect once others use the same system?

Filter systems by average monthly gain

Steve, I'm not sure if that what you meant, but I would like to filter by a compounded monthly rate, not an arithmetic average, so for example if you have 2 months of 10% and 20% (total gain of 32%), the average is 15%, while the compounded monthly figure is only 5.65% ( a square root of 32%).

Thanks for the script.Leverage isn't reported correctly since AccountLeverage() only reports maximum allowed leverage for the account whereas the broker sets/defines leverage on a per currency pair basis. You can probably check all symbols of the broker in order to find the true leverage (which is the highest).

I've demo traded it, and it's very hard to switch to a different platform once you've used MT4 - it is java based and not so good looking.

Can you please explain how are you measuring slippage? Are you comparing the requested price against the received price?

Very nice.Only 9ms delay? That's quite amazing. How are you measuring slippage? As far as I'm aware, it's not possible to measure with mql.

I agree with emkei - there's no equivalent to trading with real money - no matter how small the account is, that would get you to know the psychological factor.forexguy2012, I don't think it wise to say publicly how much money you have for trading - you'll just get offers from traders looking to trade OPM, no matter how inexperienced they are. Instead, you should look for traders based on their track record - you can start here http://www.myfxbook.com/systemsGood luck to you both!

It must be preparing for a big move - I'm waiting for it to happen, then catch the ride on a retrace. Maybe today's FOMC will make it break out of its range.

Exactly. What broker are you using? How do you get a trade report? If you're using a fix protocol and still able to get a report of the trading through the supported platforms on myFXbook, I don't think it should be an issue.

I agree. Many newbie's are lured with these 'no-programming-knowledge-required' ea builders, however creating a complete and robust automated trading system with no knowledge in programming is impossible. The end result of this software will alawys require maintenance and fine tuning.

It's not possible without a custom library, however you can just use a string and let the user enter M1 or H4, parse the string in init.
