- Very fresh results (less than 2 months history) and too fluctuating performance (P&L was -7% just 10 days ago) to judge viability.- "Gridding" is involved in "triplets", which is not favored by larger investors.- MonthlProfit/DD ratio is not too good... +3.8/-14% In other words average recovery time from max. DD is 3 months (statistically). Of course with a "gridder" it is different: profits and losses (BOTH) come FASTER and BIGGER.

Looks good, only the MonthlyProfit/DD ratio worries me... +8% vs. -29%It means that the recovery time is about 3.5 months from max. DD... (Unless it were a Martingale/Grid strategy, but according to the desciption it isn't.)

Yes, you are correct. It is NOT in the interest of any "pro" (ie. someone who makes his/her living mainly from trading) to display his performance on MyFxBook. Pro traders find their wealthy clients through other channels. That's what I meant.So getting back to JP for a last turn. In case they were as successful as they claimed (i.e. before the epic collapes), hedge funds would have already hired them - with their strategy - a long time ago. 2.4% monthly profit with -23% DD...So what is the average recovery time after a DD...? Let see... 23%/2.4% = 9.6 months. In other words the average recovery time after a DD is 9.6 months. Statistically, of course.

I would like to quote myself: "Pros don't 'show off' on MyFxBook." -- The emphasis is "on MyFxBook"...Also there are many Pro traders who trade for themselves and private clients. They are not obliged to DISPLAY anything to the public. They MAY SEND reports to their private clients.

Then forget Forex... Most brokers utilize Boston Technologies' "virtual dealer plug-ins" to cripple accounts. I talked to an owner of a brokerage and he clearly admitted that they had an "arsenal" of tools to "skin" clients... The "Know Your Client" part of the account appilications simply serves just that, i.e. to know if the client were a noob, i.e. to be "skinned" immediately, or a seasoned trader who has to be "skinned" "slooowly".I thought Pepperstone was an "OK" broker, until July, when they filled an ord...

@F1FOREX007 Thanks, David! Pros don't "show off" on MyFxBook. You will not find any "Pro trader" diplaying performance pages. They keep it for themselves for statistical purposes. Only. But I will PM you the private link of one of my live accounts I am actively trading every day.Anyway I am done with this "JP stuff". The only reason I visit MyFxBook blogs is to warn newbies about scammers, gamblers and irresponsible "Wannabees".

Your account looks good, no misunderstaning. Strangely the Master account has different performance.Nevertheless, before investing in it (for me) it would be desirable to see 1-2 years live forward test results, as any strategy can be made profitable in backtests with MT4 Optimizer.By the way, who is your broker? (Maybe Master Account should use it, too....)

No, I calculated it OK. I looked at the Graphic chart, not at the numbers.Placing the cursor above the following dates, you get the same profit%, as follows:June 18th. Profit: +57%September 22: Profit: +60%60% - 57% = 3% (at least according to my 1st grade math teacher)That is 3% net gain for 3 months (and 5 days).3% / 3 months = 1% per month (according to my 1st grade substitute math teacher).DD is a DD (-28.5%), it is what it is...Sorry, Vazze...

You got better results than the "Master Account" (http://www.myfxbook.com/members/Everex/everex-elite-risk1/961177). Congratulations! (Although the 0.6 pips/trade "expectancy" does not leave much room for "error".)Master account shows +3% net profit with -28.5% DD over the past 3 months (i.e. since June 18th).IN OTHER WORDS: +1% profit per month with -28,5% DD risk... Well, it is very sad that SELF-ADMITTING gamblers offer their useless services and take monies as subscription fees.It is one thing that they caused damages by losing, but they also took fees for nothing. As what did I get for my money for which I had to provide real services for other people and spend my life time. I got nothing! They simply robbed me of my limited life time.But apparently that is the "norm" in the Forex world. This "sector" of "services" has probably the most scammers and crooks.

Anyway at the minimum they broke their own rules and caused significant damages to their trsuting clients.Any normal buisness causing damages would at least reimburse the monies received from their clients. Apparently they cannot care less about their clients who paid them. They just spent the monies on flights to HongKong, hotels and restaurants bills. From my money. To earn that money I had to provide service to other people and spend my limited life time. What did I get for my money (i.e. spent lifetime) from them...?? BS. That it is: A HUGE BS.Even JP has personally admitted being a GAMBLE...

I disagree for multiple reasons:- JP has has collected MUCH MORE monies in subscription fees than he lost on his own accounts!!!- Performance was verified through a "no name" broker.- JP has appeared on MyFxBook only in 2014, although he had 2-3 years of "success" history before that, so it is very likely that their "no name broker" has "cooked the books" and created a nice account history. (Remember Bernie Madoff...??)- And finally, isn't it suspicious, that the account has crashed SOON after launching the signal services via MyFxBook and MQL5...?E...

The end result shows the "value" of their strategy... If there were any strategy at all. Of course, other than scamming thousands of subscribers. Which they did "masterfully", collecting tens of thousands of dollars in subscription fees while crashing their accounts. One of the best designed scams on MyFxBook by the involvement of a scam broker creating artificial account history.There are so many other much better strategies on MyFxBook running at mainstream brokers. I am almost sure it is because Forex is in a period of extreme low volatility; the lowest volatility since 2005. The summer holidays have only pushed volatility lower. In 2009 one of the smallest candles on the daily chart is larger than one of the largest daily chart candles we have seen in the last few months.
