LOST $14 k for 0.01 USDCHF LOT SIZE .Please help !

I went over my calculations and I have a good degree of confidence the 14k loss would be correct under such circumstances. I still hope the OP got reimbursed for such a horrible quote from the broker that obviously wasn't right.To reiterate, this formula is from a mainstream broker. Let's consider a long.PL = (Closing Price - Opening Price)...

Agree! Any measure used that will keep you outside volatility will help reduce premature exits. As volatility dies down, prices tend to consolidate, and so the stop-loss automatically moves closer to the price action and not give back too much if triggered. 😎
