It is martingale with trade size based on Fibonacci.It has low DD because during DD account stats are not updated.

Hi,I am optimizing my strategy on calgo (ctrader) with tick data precision from server and with 10,000 deposit I am getting results like 13 billion profit with 10k deposit.How reliable is such backtesting, do you think real results could be at least close to it?BRTomas

With decreasing equity yes.With increasing equity it is anti-martingale.But it is pure definition. In normal terms I would not be so strict.

Thats not the point. Point is that strategy that trades a lot provides sufficient base for backtesting.

Martingale scheme is adding to position when equity decreases.Equity decreases when open trades are negative.So lets say you have account balance and equity $1,000You open trade which turns negative to -$100So your equity decreased.

Its quite easy the poor people sell EAs to rich one.The poor people do not have capital to become rich by trading.Moreover they are selling something that could stop working any day. So they take real money now and sell unknown future, unknown EA performance.

Even though you made impressive profit to 4000 from only 100 deposit it is clear you don't close loosing positions. Once the DD is too high you are gone.
Is 99% or real tick backtest quality possible in MT5?
