The largest stop you have had is 30 pips and your using 8 lots on not even 1000usd ???You trying to tell me your not overleveraged?I do not doubt you may have a good system but you need to use smaller lots for more long term trading. i have experience with night scalping 😉...

Yes you need to time order execution its completely different then latency to brokers server, order modify will happen faster then market order execution also ....

You dont have to be a HFT trader to suffer from a massive 50 pip slippage you will see from MT4, where-as this doesnt happen on a API feed...

its a demo but average trade length is 27days, so we can safely say it will work live at any broker...he prolly doesnt have enough cash to cover the drawdown that may happen with his system so thats most likely why he doesn't have a real account...Looks like he certainly knows when to exit his trades...The avg DD per trade is like 90 pips so we can see that you need capital for this strategy...

I second PipGnostic.. MT4 was designed to make retail traders lose their cash..There is other platforms that offer faster and more accurate backtesting and order execution with very limited slippage for scalpers as there is no MT bottleneck..

You should convert your bot to C++ and use multicharts or connect to an API so you can process through FIX, its really the only way to practically eliminate slippage least within real liquidity..
