It baffles me that the merge will see no impact on gas prices which is a huge negative. Of course it is great that energy consumption is greatly reduced but day to day transactions are still far too expensive to be useful.

I agree, as much as that butthurts some people. BTC is behaving more like stocks when the markets are risk on and risk off. Dollar is pushing it around as it does most other assets.

The dollar is the king in the currency markets. I recommend looking at the US dollar index and see how it moves vs EURUSD. You will see a near perfect reverse correlation. From there you can look for times it doesn't match up as these can be powerful signals for the moves to come and allow for early entries.

The size of your account doesn't dictate the success of your trade. What risk reward was the trade and therefore ROI? Is your strike rate sufficient that your risk reward has you in profit overall? These are the markers of success, the money isn't as it is fluid and will always change relative to the real success in your trading.

Not true at all about it being something that you have to do full time. I trade intraday and don't spend all day on the charts, that's not why I trade. Understand the key times of day to trade with the most volume, know what you are looking for in terms of entries, set up limits and enjoy your day.

You need to start surgery. It doesn't matter if you know anything about medicine or anatomy, you'll figure it out once inside. A sentence that sounds absurd when said out loud. How it reacts from here is crucial as it is ahead of BTC currently in the push back toward being long term bullish. The date being announced for the merge next month will likely help to keep the overall momentum in ETH's favour. I think we may see it break away from BTC and eat into its market dominance.

Innately a losing run will be more impactful as humans are evolved to be risk averse and so this will be a huge stressor to most. However winning streaks can be problematic both ways depending on if you are under or over confident. The overconfident trader takes the good run of variance is the norm and believes they are deserving of the profits they make and are therefore more impacted when it doesn't go their way. A thing to remember is that you don't have to know everything or apply everything. There is so much information out there that it can be overwhelming sometimes so focus on what speaks to you the loudest and clearest and use that. You might find that your sport buying opportunities more than sells, fine focus on that. There might be a pattern type you spot easier than others, use that. Reduce the friction to finding setups. Make it easier on yourself and then backtest it and forward test it.

The way to look at it is this - what do you think the bank does with your savings? Hold it in a vault for you? No, they invest it and loan it out to others for a far higher APR than they give you for saving with them. In this market saving cash is pointless for the purposes of wealth creation. If you are looking long term then investing makes more sense.
