What Brokers Survived the Swiss?

Specifically I'm looking for the strongest US broker in the aftermath of the Swiss bloodbath.I'm sure others outside of the US would like to know what their best options are as well.I personally trade with FXCM and heard that they received a $300 million cash infusion which has saved them for now but I'm not too confident in their long term health.News?Suggestions?

Sorry I was away for a bit guys. I was tweaking my bot and working on a new strategy. Will probably be a week or two before I get this bot configured right. The 200% return I got in the last 2 days was from manual trading. Mostly oil but some S&P and EUR/USD as well. My goal will be 100% return a month with a maximum draw down of 20% (going to try and get it closer to 10%). We'll see.

Not sure which one of us you're talking to. I'm going to run my new EA on a demo account for a few weeks. If it works out, I'll set up a signal and you can pay for the signal, if you feel like it. If it doesn't work out, I'll keep my focus on the EUR/USD.

Where'd everyone go? Let's keep this thread alive. Any other EA's out there? I'll be posting my second one in about a week. I need to configure it first as I want to try and keep the draw down below 20%. Everything looks promising so far. Would love to see others in on this as well.

Next week I will be testing out a new EA I'm putting together specifically for the oil market. Manual testing of the strategy is very promising. After I test it for a little bit I'll post it if the results are good.

I agree. This is an EA I use for the EUR/USD pair. Will take a little work to configure for the oil market. I turned it off for a few days and had it off for most of today. Not really taking this project too seriously I guess. Unfortunately, I live in America and can't trade oil so I do this on a demo account so it's not very practical for me. But yes, 50% draw down is way too high. You should find something closer to or below 20%.

I'm not sure about those commodity robot people but why would someone think that something between $1,000 to $2,000 is expensive? I did it in a 24 hour period. Used 500:1 margin. Traded UDS/JPY. When you get over $200 all you need is 80 pips trading 1 lot. It's not hard to this. The hard part is keeping that money. Trading aggressively is not a recipe for long term success. I know from experience.

Horrible experience. They don't pay out their swap rates properly. If you don't care about a company stealing your money then go ahead and trade with them. To me, those rates add up and are all figured into my trading. I will never trade with them again.

I agree. It sucks for us because they got an unfair advantage to start but it also sucks for them because they'll probably get disqualified. This is a pretty flawed competition (Not that I would win anyway. I'll probably blow out my account in a week, Haha)

That makes sense. And it is pretty cool. I wasn't try to rag on you though so sorry if you took offense. I was just saying you were probably running under their radar until you mentioned it. The fact that you have a bunch of trades at 0 seconds might disqualify you. I don't know but that seems to be why they booted the other guys.
