Sorry Gerald, your tone suggests I offended you, but I in no way intended my response as such, let me clarify.I think the definition of martingale systems is that they don't/barely use a stoploss, only to cover power outages and such, and use lot size increases to quickly recover from a losing trade the moment a reversal/retrace is detected. Different systems use varying methods with varying effectiveness in detecting these retraces and are also very different in how aggressive they are in raising their lot sizes. I believe your system meets this definition, especially at the moments it hi...

http://www.eareview.net/tick-dataExplains how you can create your own back testing data with a specific leverage, normally your MT4 strategy tester will just use the leverage of whatever account you're running on that MT4 instance.

Hi Paul,Warning: be careful. We've tested over 150 commercial EA's, and over over 100 free EA's. Most are scams/crap, or only work on demo accounts. Less than 10 of all those EA's actually passed our most rigorous testing. Then firstly: I recommend you learn about Tick Testing: http://www.eareview.net/tick-dataWith that you can visually test an EA on a realistic spread (double your broker's spread to take slippage and execution speed into account).Secondly, if you do buy one, run it on demo for a while, and try buying those through clickbank or other reputable payment gatew...

nice, took a look at your history...does look like you're playing a risky game increasing to so many lots. (only reason I checked is because of the high win rate). Not saying it's bad, but it is risky, be careful with opening too many positions, margin in there for a reason, and myfxbook only shows drawdown for balance, not equity.

Yes, please don't loan money to trade...even if you think you've got the best system in the world...what if war breaks out or something else crazy happens and you lose it all? How will you pay back the loan?

Since it is a martingale/grid system, definitely a wise choice. With low lot sizes such systems can be quite viable, although not my risk appetite :)

Hmmm, I tend to not watch my system's live accounts too much, only the demo's for those components that I'm still testing (after a successfully 99% backtest). But, if I was trading manually...I would really hate to hit stoplosses and would probably watch TV for 15 minutes with a cup of tea :)

Hi Remus,Thanks for fixing my stats, that definitely helps give a clearer picture. I hope they'll add all of these to myfxbook's own stats. I'd be interested in seeing things like the sortino rating as well, but the suggestion box is already pretty full. And I completely agree with your comment on history, I wouldn't be too keen on investing in anything without a long track record. Unless perhaps when I could validate code and backtest it on very conservative data. However, LiteForex's community seems to have faith; almost 1400$ equity in the account as we speak after 1 mont...

Hi Remus & Others,Since my PAMM has been running with shining results, I'd like to post answers to your more technical questions now (as we didn't have data earlier):2) how many trades / month does your current system generateBetween 70 and 120, depending on volatility and volume.3a) what is the maximum trade duration for the last 100 trades88 hours, closed at 0,66% loss. This is exeptional, my trade history is public so you can verify :)3b) what is the average trade duration for the last 100 trades5 hours and 49 minutes4) what is the average pip/trade over the last 100 tradesAssum...

System Log 2Congratulations if you're one of the shareholders, we're already over 15% profits! Far beyond our original goal for this month. I'll admit right away I wasn't expecting this month to be so hot, with the holidays and all. Those ARE still coming closer though, and last Friday certainly showed an extreme reduction in liquidity. With that in mind, I'm reducing lot sizes and trading frequency until January 5. And until then, I'll be enjoying the holidays, and won't be in touch much. Have a great and warm christmas, and see you in the new year!Sincerely,Jos.

For a safe/conservative and balanced portfolio trader;http://www.myfxbook.com/members/liquidityfxComes with bi-weekly summaries and analysis, is meant for medium to long term investments. It does not come with drawdown as this system does not employ any type of grid or martingale trading, positions are closed when max profit or max risk is reached, which is never more than a few % of the total account equity.Contrary to most fishy manager's, all trades are fully transparant in the trading history, manager's fee is 25%, high water mark.
Can anyone recomend a managed account ?

Feel free to take a peek at my account. Young, so I understand if you'd prefer to monitor it for a while, but it's my first public one and it will keep going as it is going, fully transparant, no crazy xxx% in a day...just 4% average per month with 1% risk.

Small update: I've decided to make all my trades public. I see so many managers hiding their equity and history, and always feel there must be something fishy going on. So, hereby, full transparancy. I hope others will follow in helping investors and traders get honest and reliable information.

System Log 1After two weeks of trading, we're a nice clean 2.44% up. Perhaps, depending on the strategy you're using, this could be considered both good and bad. The past two weeks certainly had their swings, which could perhaps have been used to more advantage. But, I prefer stability and don't like risking too many trades on a sudden strong trend developing. We all know traders or systems that score up to a 100% in just a few weeks. But most experienced traders also know that this is not a sustainable way of trading and will eventually fail. And Murphy's law tells us that it ...

Thanks, yep, that's LiteForex's monitoring of the account, there you can see how many people are participating and what capital they have invested. The 25.000$ in this account on MyFxbook is virtual and used for the actual trading, but it does not in any way represent the total investment of all participants, as with most PAMM systems. However, it is fully representative of the return a participating account makes / could make.Manager's capital is required by LiteForex before investments are allowed, and is 200$ (real, not cents). It auto increases along with the total account equit...

Hi Will,it's $25.000, or 25k, not a cent account. LiteForex requires a minimum manager investment of $200 before the PAMM account becomes public, which is what was deposited into this account. Investors investing through LiteForex into this PAMM account will be charged a 25% manager's renumeration fee on their profits.Anyone wishing to introduce his/her clients to our PAMM account at LiteForex will receive a 75% share of our renumeration fee, as we feel it is fair to the introducer to have a majority share. And of course we don't only want to outperform the competition, we also wan...
