haha, yea it takes balls alright. I used to use the method of closing out all other positions once one basket got full and let the basket ride... because as you say, it does tend to recover but it just needs margin to work. It would of course reduce profit but it also increased sleep at night ;)

Hey Ken. Great results on this one.Wondering if you ever intervene on this account or just let it do its thing? eg if you get a full basket on one pair do you close out all the others and let the full basket run? or do you simply let them all run?

Withdrew funds due server playing up again and giving an error on the MT4 platform. Was already nervous about the Cyprus crisis as well.

Stopped using Forex Hacked on the 21st Feb 2013. I didnt like the look of the large moves developing on GBPUSD. Left a small balance to give manual trading a go when I find time... made 10cents so far ;P

Thanks for your tip re closing out all other trades and let the basket ride. my private account had a big EURJPY basket that closed today. In the past I probably would have chickened out for a slight loss.

24th Jan 2013. Started back up with Power long only, 0.4 risk to avoid 100 lot limit (no more shorts, too crazy)16th Jan 2013. Chickened out of USDJPY level 15 basket as had reached 100 lot limit (99 lots).12th Dec. 2012. Chickened out of EurJPY. Cant remember why... things must have been getting crazy...Margin getting low probably.

This account has been running Forex Hacked with Jaymans set 2 with correct base lot size since 18th Jan 2013.Before that it was running with incorrect base lot size from 6th Nov to 19th Dec 2012 (4 times larger than normal) resulting in my having to intervene towards the end.Before that it was running Forex Envy 3 - HV Long.

I restarted Power Longs with 0.67 risk as per ultracats settings: http://www.myfxbook.com/community/trading-systems/fe-ultra-b4-power-long/334213,1He doesnt run the yen pairs. I left them on. Am now considering turning them off as my private account, which I restarted earlier on, is now at a level 14 basket on the EURJPY. Interesting reading! EURJPY and USDJPY have caused me some grief. i was just thinking... 0.67 risk seems an odd number... any reason behind it? why not just 0.5 risk?

Yes it was for Power long mode. I was running it with short cycles prior to the end of year holiday period. Had to manually intervene about once or twice a month (usually looking to Chicken out on a slight retrace once it reached level 12 - which meant watching it regularly!). I FATP'd before holiday season but ended up with a USDJPY basket all the way through to Level 14 basket and couldnt open a level 15 as the account had reached its 100 microlot limit (XE Markets). Besides, I dont think it would have handled another level as it reached 79% drawdown and used 109% margin.After all the in...
