I was wondering why other participants are so much concerned about Lot sizes and trying to compare it with Real account. This is just a competition and everyone has a choice of selecting huge lots. Suppose if Ballztrader would have wiped out his account using these huge lots how many of you would be shouting here ?? Still 2 weeks are left ... Get back to trading and winning .. cheers ... !!!! Whats wrong, I am rank 10th but http://www.myfxbook.com/contests/trading-championship-february-2011/3 headline says I am rank 1362. Also in Today's Biggest Movers , my rank shows 1362 ???

Tried that too ... Actually I live in UAE where Friday and Saturday are the weekend. So it very difficult to avoid. Other days I am busy at office so these economic release dont bother me at all.

If you see last contest , the guy who got 3rd position took 3 trades to get 1000% .Trading news is not my trading style, just that I got into greed to change my 90% to 100% before the week end. Tried scalping but ended up loosing even more. All the best to everyone for this contest.

This is called bad luck. The moment the GU and EU trade were opened, within minutes the pair fell 100+ pips. There was no big news too :-(Seems like the Week is going to end in Red .. hmmmm

@pipdetectorWell, I know this is a demo account, but once I go live with this, I am not going to risk more than 1% per trade. As you noticed there is a fixed stop loss of 40 pips. So even if you loose 4 trades a day(which is very very unlikely) you end up loosing 4%.However, win ratio is very high in this More than 70%. Backtesting from December 2009 till today gives 100% profit on 10k account trading with 1lot (i.e risking 4% every trade).Today was a very volatile day... I still have to check what happened... just that when I opened the system, I found that the account is up 8% ..and by the e...

Ok guys .. todays's Buy trade looks like some bug in the EA, I need to check this out !! It should have opened another Sell Trade rather than a buy, I need to check the code and confirm. Cheers !!
