Dear MIDNIGHT EXPRESS subscribers, this week was again slow and difficult to trade, so we only had a small progress. I will stop trading the following pairs from next week: EURJPY, GBPJPY, AUDUSD, USDSGD. The first 2 in order to avoid the unexcpected moves of JPY pairs when some tweet or geopolitical development is taking place. The other 2 because they had negative impact in our signal so far. Its really a pitty that a good and hard effort is taking steps back every now and then due to sudden announcements and tweets, but this is how markets are and we must 'learn to sail in high winds'. Dear MIDNIGHT EXPRESS subscribers, it has been a custom lately every other day to have a trade war announcement right in the middle of our trading hour. Last night we had the US-Mexico trade talk failure announcement, followed by President Trump's usual tarrifs tweet that caused us a 16% drawdown. I am trying very hard to recover and minimize the losses since, that's why you still see 2 open positions. I've made 3 important changes in our strategy that will help it to adapt better to sudden trend changes. I've increased the virtual SL levels and decreased the lot sizes accordingly in order to keep the same risk ratio (1% per position). Also I am introducing a filter that will not allow the system to open many positions at similar price levels in periods of consolidation, because this was the heart of the problem (and high drawdown) in cases of sud...
