During the news, specialy when news that have high impact such as central back decision on interest rate or else, high slippage and crazy widen spreads are common. That will happen within the first few seconds when the news announced. I never place a pending order near the price when the news will announced minutes later. If you want to see what I mean, see it by yourself this friday on US non-farm payroll announcement, high slippage will happen, widen spread on major currency (5-10 pips) will happen, these will happen with all broker I know, sometimes few brokers will also have their trading ...

When? At what time? Big slippage usually happens when market's closing on US session which means Aussie session's opening, most of brokers will have low and limited liquidity during that time.

Yeah, forgot to post the update, withdrawal got delayed due to unlucky circumstances, here it is:1. Waiting for 3 days since approved, made contact with my bank and the funds still haven't arrived.2. Chat with live chat support which is unlucky me to had live chat support with "less good attitude" staff where he/she kept saying I have to wait until 5 working days.3. Decided to send an email to

Update:22/10/2013 12:56:55 Withdraw Bank transfer MT4 xxxxxx xxxx.xx CompletedThere's an error on the withdrawal method status, it should be to Credit Card, and I've confirmed with their live chat support and they've said the correct one should be Credit Card, not bank transfer. I'll update again later once the funds arrived in my card.

Same as me, been with pepperstone since 2011 and happy with them on their edge server. Now I'm also with ICMarkets just to diversify my equity. I hope the wire withdrawal process with ICMarkets could provide less fee, but I'm bit pessimist on that as ICM seems also use NAB, and wire transfer from NAB to my bank will have to trough intermediate bank (Standard Chartered - which cost me $70 and I know this from my bank when I withdrew from pepperstone which also use NAB).

Freeze does happens, but only few seconds during high-impact news such as NFP, which also cause gap on the chart and wider spread, but not all high-impact news will cause this, only few of them. After that the spread back to normal even when the graph moving fast. I think the freeze, gap and wide spread is normal during that kind of ocassion. And during friday on US session last-minutes and monday Aussie session early minutes, lot of gaps happen due to low liquidity (I think).

I'm with them for months now. So far so good, haven't try to ask for withdrawal until now. I also with another aussie broker and made few withdrawals without any problem. And for the spread Just like what advertised, and never had bad experience like off-quotes or requotes or else with my HFT ea.

I've added this ea performance to my watch list, it seems good since the ea started. But few days isn't enough to test an ea, i'd say 2-3 months would be the minimum. I agree that most of profitable ea won't be for sale for a cheap price. But for a fair price for a thin pocket trader like me, you could provide your ea as a signal provider, but if your ea is a time-sensitive ea which few seconds could give a different result, then providing a PAMM account would be the best option (i think).

Wire transfer fee itu umumnya $20-$35, tapi ada juga bank yg menggunakan jasa intermediary bank spy pengiriman uangnya sampai ke bank tujuan, nah fee utk intermediary bank ini variasi antara $25-$75. Utk lbh pastinya tanya aja langsung ke banknya, nanti biasanya bs ngejelasin detailnya.

Otherwise, I won't use EA if it's not profitable, just need to find a correct EA's logic to get implemented on a right broker and a right environment.

As what the subject is, i think i'm on that path right now, most of my time was spent on my day job, but my fx trading gives me much more monthly income than my day job (using my own ea), so right now my day job is more like for employment formality.
