rootkit: I understand Your lough, that was just a theory. Glad to see here someone who is reasonable.For this reason also teories about banks and institutions counter trading MDP is just silly, it is not even noticable to them.As for virtual markets, most of the MDP users try to use ECN (if we belive its ECN), so their orders should go to the market, however it still does not change the fact that this group of ppl is nothing in Forex Market, not even drop in the ocean.

People are complaining here, blaming brokers, blaming other things, making conspiracy theories, making new theories about how market works (especially I love one about low liquidity during the spikes). Mostly manual (based on daily analyses from Alpari and Fxpro) with very high risk.But periodicly I also test EAs here. Right now I use so called TickScalper (EURUSD), previouslythere was also here my own EA called PawqScalper.This is the playground with very high risk.

It appears that You were not smart enough to understand config options, its not hard coded.If You want to enforce stop orders and trailing stops to false then also set AutoECN to false. In other case it will try to detect ECN capabilities and will change stop orders and trailing options according to this on the fly.

I would first try the lighter way. Ask Your broker about that and what can they do to make it ok.Actually I succeed battles like that with my broker couple times and now everything works smooth.

Will: great article.People who were not lazy enough should already (from this article) figure out which broker could be suitable for MDP. :)btw. Will I have seen Your profile with scam bots, Myfxbook should really change their rules and allow to fetch data only from realiable brokers.
