I'm sorry I am not following you here. Why wouldn't their be any future to PAMM systems? An increasing number of brokers are offering MAM/PAMM services.

I think Alpari NZ has a lot of PAMMs = a lot of potential investors. You can check other people's setup to see what is the average industry fee.
Length of track record and managed accounts?

Honestly if a new lowest DD is followed by a new high in equity, I would seriously be worried. An excessive risk would be taken to compensate for the bad drawdown. A high drawdown should be slowly compensated over time by applying the normal strategy of the system.

Careful yoed, the average trade last less than a second and this is a demo account, it can't be taken as a reference for live trading.

I understand that SP gives you a steady cash flow but I am not a big fan of such system from an investor point of view (lack of incentive or limited incentive for the trader). I only believe that PAMM is the best way to increase your personal wealth as well as your investors'. Both of you want the greatest returns to increase your cumulated wealth and at the same time your % on their return. The only limit there are the excess from the trader who could be blinded by the gains...

For this question:What is your reaction when someone cancels their subscription the same day they subscribed just because of one losing trade and doesn't give you a chance to recover their loss? Tough luck?I know some PAMM managers impose a lock-up period that is subject to penalties if investor withdraw their money too early.I think you have to be clear with all your investor, defining in your strategy description that you may incur losses up to a predefined % and never more than that.I think a lot of your issues would be solved with a PAMM structure rather than SP.
Exit strategy

You can't set a general rule for exit. If you are a pure technical trader, then simply look for support/resistance levels on whatever time frame you are working. Always look in the past to find these level and you'll know when to enter and when to exit. Don't go in too early and always wait for the trade (use limit orders or stop orders) and use a pre-defined target at the next level.Fibonnaci level can also help you to close partially your trade.I don't believe that an MA cross will tell you the optimum to close a trade. If you wait for this kind of event, it will already be t...

Smart idea @TheSmokedAce about switching MT4 to pips ;-)About the life expenses that needs to be covered its the same issue with all traders. Nobody can sustainably (more than a year) make over 10% a month. You need to target reasonable amounts like 1.5-3% monthly. Lets say you need 2k$/month this is a 67k$ balance which is needed. It is not reachable by anyone who wants to dive in forex by himself and live out of it.
Diffrence between real & demo trading

Are you talking about an EA working on H1 or in M1? does it trades in volatile events?Obviously it will work fine on H1 or anything at M15 or above. However if you trade volatility you'll see huge differences...same thing on M1...one pip after an other you'll lose.Everyone here knows that slippage affect trading on demo vs reality and you can't contradict it. You might tolerate it more than others, but this is a different story.

The issue there is that you are missing two variables: (1) few people on myfxbook have an account with least two years of track record (anyone in the professional world of investment would request at least 3 to 5 years of track record to prove your worth, even though I must admit that FOREX is much different and you could sell yourself with a 1 year track record, again few have that), (2) being able to trade the same way with a 1K€ account as in an account that would be 25 or 30k€...trust me, it is extremely difficult psychologically and just with this new variable, a lot of trader f...

Well open both BUY & SELL with a trailing stop as close as possible starting from a few seconds before the news...this could work and insure your trade to be open.

An other solution I've heard of would be to open both a BUY and SELL prior to the news (lets say 60second) and close the opposite direction of the news whenever it happens.
