FX Manager Listing Board

I'm just going to say taht if you don't have a year's worth of trading history, don't bother posing to be a money manager. Any monkey can trade and make money for couple of weeks or months. It's jsut so annoying seeing posts after posts of trader wannabe thinking they're hot shots with something to prove.

Trading Contests

Jan 24, 2013 at 00:35
these contests are not for the purpose of finding the best trader. It's about promoting the broker and luring newbies into thinking that forex is easy-so easy that you can get +1000% returns. And when the trader wins the contest, the broker forces you to take certain amount of trades with your own money first before you can claim their money. Why? because this will hopefully increase the chances of you losing your deposits when trading with real money. The payoff they have to give out is nothing compared to how much they get in return from you losing and from all the new newbie accounts th...

So here's the story:I'm a professional trader. I'm also a signal provider.I trade with amount of money that most of us would probably cringe and go into depression if you lose it. So you're not going to see me trade like a rogue here. Yes, I am on the aggressive side in terms of risk and reward, but the beauty of being a signal provider vs a fund manager is that the CLIENT can dictate their risk. If you think my historical drawdown is too much, then trade half the proportional factor or even less (just know that your gain is effectively reduced as well). But I would never recom...

with the advent of auto trading services like fxstat, fxjunction, currensee, etc. there's really no reason for anyone to go with these "managed forex funds". First of all you are completely subjected to the manager's risk management, meaning if they take horrible risks, you can't do anything about it. At least with auto trading, you can specify your own risk parameters at will and even alter the stop loss/TP in real time too.

Finally completed hypothetical testing based on my current rules. Over the years, my trading principle of using orderflow/AMT hasn't changed. But risk management has changed over the years to account for worst case scenario.http://nocturnalfx.webs.com/the-systemI would consider my system to be average or slightly above average.if you wish you trade full time with a system like this , it's best to start wtih $100k. This would be my minimum starting point based on my experience with drawdowns. Starting with $100k will at least get you above average income for Americans.

When i'm on a winning streak i tend to up my risk.- this is highly unusual But end of every quarter, i recalculate my position - to be fixed for the next quarter. it's about that time of the year.

really? this is the view I get when i signed out. It's under "UNITS" just in case you're a newbie.my last trade for example8910000 units ($89.10/pip) x 23.8 pips = $2120.58My account is connected via third party access with oanda. Oanda deal in 'units'http://www.myfxbook.com/files/TPOTrader/Untitled.jpgbut anyways. it's a choice to privatize. what really matters is the % return. As Paul Tudor jones said "After a while, the size means nothing. It gets back to the question of whether you’re making a 100 percent rate-of-return on $10,000 or $100 million. I...

For me personally, it's just tacky. I think this is the only profession where you go around asking people how much $ they have or how much they make. Although it's true our job is money it's still taboo to some. Having balance/and profit locked gives some dignity-at least to me.I'm with you on this though-about being transparent. I don't understand why some would hide their trading history. Open trades? sure-maybe they don't want you to freely copy their trades. but hiding trading history doesn't make sense to me. And so is not having trading verified or trading pri...

Thanks David.Only time will tell if I'm a good trader or fail like the 95%.If I am proven to be a good trader, I would love to leverage my skills. I've signed up with sites like fxstat, fxjunction, collective2, currensee that will allow me to indrectly manage OPM. Most of them are under the probationary mode-so i'm assuming sometime in Jan or Feb 2013, other people can start following me. Just search for "TPOTrader"

I'm a full time trader since Oct 2012. I started trading since 2007 with various brokers (forex.com, ibfx, now oanda). I only trade the EURUSD since 2009. So I know this pair very well.

The actual method (my own system) is proprietary-therefore i cannot share it. But i use combination of technical analysis, IFRmarkets analysis, 6E market profile data, and COT charts to determine that.

Yes. that's because I can handle that risk personally. The average loss is about 5%, which is reasonalbe for a retail trader. If I were to trade for a investor or fund, the risk profile would be investor driven or based on a risk manager's discretion respectively.

I'm a EURUSD specialist. I doubt anyone would be interested if I decide to manage money since I only trade one instrument. But if there are any money managers willing to take me in as a partner to manage their overall risk or investor willing to use me to hedge their overall portfolio; then please feel free to review my performancehttp://www.myfxbook.com/members/TPOTrader
