Of course I read it. Both books, many times.Trend principles still work, but they were working in very different environments.Their sizable trades also affected the market they were in.You will also find that the first trade was often the biggest.E/U is still far away from trend change, my stop is about 100 pips behind.Hopefully another 700 or 800 pip run.

Change plan, i hate the idea of deleting an account. Should not be allowed so everyone can see past results.So change plan, change method.

On a daily charts too many small swings. Though you could use 8hr to watch retracements and re enter on the up swing.Still I aint convinced that pyrmading is the best way.And yes we wait for the big swings to happen until we find out. Normally there is a couple each year.

Curve smoothness means smaller DD dips.If you have 1 mil you don't want to see that figure go up or down by a 100-200k every month.It's much better to have 10-30K every mth without the big dips in equity.If at the end of the year or 5 the result is the same, then smooth curve = smooth sleep.In theory of course.

Marek very few real full time traders do seminars.Trading is hard, why do that when you can fill a room full of people and charge them $1000 just to talk and show some adapted charts?

Raa given what i see they are still much better than most strategies.Of course I understand that 20-40% a year may seem "slighlty positive" to the martingale MT5 crowd here, but what has disappeared from myfxbook are the blown out accounts.Experience is not "hunch", it's recognition of patterns and events that happened before and taking a calculated risked based on outcomes previously seen.

Partial profits ensure some profits and reduce equity volatility and smoothen the equity curve.Yes you forgo potentially larger profits to lock in gains now, as always you don't know what the market will do tomorrow. . Which you did anyway, you just incur a bit of risk of loss letting small trades continue until trend change. Good practice for exits as well.You only overreacted because of the trade sizes.So instead of panicking in or out of the market, reduce trade size to a comfortable level.Unless you like the frill of + or - 15%per mth.

None of the old technique EAs seem to work as they should.I can do it manually looking at daily charts, why bother.Even the all MA cross EAs i found don't work properly.

You were trading pretty heavy.You can just close out most of the positions and let a small amount run till opposite signal.Keeping a small position also gets you used to following a trend till it finishes.

WTF!??Worst Trade (Pips): (Sep 28) -2850.0That must have been a small loss on wheat, definitely skews the numbers in terms of pips.

OK, maybe I take things a little too literal lol.FX Odyssey you won't see no 20% mth in my trading. 20-50% pa is ok with me.I trade real money, only my own and more than most. And I ain't in any hurry.Started in the 90's ftr.

And your absolutely right, here my history is only a few mths, other places a few years.Only time will tell, but one thing is certain is that I put my money behind my trade calls.I also decided to try out some EA with a new acct.Weird?Trading is not easy, so for someone who can't do it to be demanding conditions on those who can as Remus thinks he can is absurd.It's like McLaren signing up Alonso and then telling him how to drive. That's weird.btw I like your results Daytrading!I trade very small over long periods, like week trading.
