June, July and aug so far has been very unusual in the context of the last 2 years, USD index moved less than 1 point on avg, compared to the 4 points it normally moves, have to see at least a month or two of "normal' before you'll know if this portfolio is working or not. Range is down 75% on normal. So any ranging type system will make money.What happens when the range returns?

Much better to put down your stats and let potentials contact you, as apposed to putting it in conversation. Bit like having a Jehova's at the door, they're going to tell you how they see it whether you want to hear it or not. These portfolio's are to new to take on money for clients.

IBFX sends straight through I think. Have a look at them, been trading with them for a while and they're generally quite good.

So my idea is to have another tick box for symbols before the pair and a little blank box we can put the symbol into. And the same for putting something at the end off the post.

K - right now if I put this tweet down: Closed Buy EURGBP 0.8552 for +65.0 pips, total for today +65.0 pips - The 150 people in my profile can see the tweet. If I can put it down with a $ in front of the pair $EURUSD it will then post to Stocktwits, where I can broadcast it to the 80 000 people on Stocktwits. By doing that I change the profile to which I post, so instead of posting on mine, I post on theirs. Or I can add a $$ after the post to post to Stocktwits. Or I can add a # tag to tag the word #EURUSD to make it a keyword. I don't know what the rest are, but the $ before and $$ afte...

What I do is I keep my demo's running when I go live, as a control. And in the past there's been very little difference between the performances. And I try to switch on when you've just had a hiding. That might help also. To me all systems have 4 states of performance. Over, under, normal and non. I try wait for a non period to finish before I go live. that way I switch onto one of the others.

Shouldn't be. I think its more a question of when you change from demo to live that makes the difference. Normally we all go live when we do well. Systems make or lose money in streaks. So you have a good run, system looks good, and you go live, but you used all your luck in the good streak and switch on into a losing streak! Well, that's how I figure it anyway...

June/July was very quiet. The conditions for those two months were a bit abnormal. Usually USD index moves about 4 points a month, and for June/July it moved 1 point.Might make sense to test it in volatile periods as well, just to be sure. But those are very good results.

Next party trick on this would be pre- and post fixes. Like Closed Sell $EURCHF 1.5296 for +25.0 pips, total for today +7191.0 pipsor or Closed Sell EURCHF 1.5296 for +25.0 pips, total for today +7191.0 pips $$If we can maybe put the options in same format as it is now, so we just tick a box and put the symbol in. And then we can put any symbol in, like # or $. That'll take it to the next level. Cause then we can specify where we post to post to in twitter...

K -so there's a restart procedure.If you leave your twitter setting on and stop the statement from printing for a while, and you switch it on again, all your trades will go through to twitter at once. And if it's enough trades cooler box for you for one hour. What you have to do is switch the twitter setting off, switch the statement on, wait 10 min's and then switch twitter back on, it'll pick it up from the last trade and not send out a bunch at once.

Ya, I thought the volume would cause trouble. If i were you i'd switch it off and then back on again, in case it cue'd some stuff.Funny thing is I'm not looking, I got more on my plate than i can handle. I just thought it would be a really awesome tool. If you have a look at Facebook and you'll see there's a twitter sync app. Now you can broadcast to 250 000 000 people and network it. That worked just awesome, posted my last trade closed only and the daily pip count. The only thing I'm worried about now is that the external applications like Tweetdeck changes the @ into " @". Not maybe better to just leave a space:Closed Buy AUDCHF 0.8985 for +105.0 pips, total for today +205.0 pips
