Believe it or not. people actually want to use Instaforex, for these reasons.
30% welcome bonus
13% Annual return
And for me...... Well you know how I feel about Insta....
Strategy-
I am still using S/R and price action. I will be using iDraw. I will be placing some longterm trades. I will use a Stoploss.
Occasionally, I will place a Scalp with a decent lot size.
Bucket Shop Brokers still accept US citizens :-0
I did receive my Profits from the first run at Instaforex. Insta PAMM is a solid system and you can join with little effort. Heck why not.. Its just $30 bucks.

i use Instaforex because it supports many deposit and withdrawal methods. It also allows local bank transfer through local IB.
In addition, Instaforex has debit card, which allow investor withdraw forex account money to the debit card, then that debit card can be used to withdraw money from ATM.
Can you please tell me some other brokers(which you think not a bucket shop) that is providing such services?
Regards,
SIM

I must admit ability to withdraw my money onto my debit card had never been one of the criteria I've even considered for a broker.
Good spreads, stable connection, good execution and direct market access are the main things I look for.
I don't care if they send my money back to me in used £10 notes in a sack providing the other criteria are achieved.

Hi Steve,
I agree with what you said. But i think Instaforex has good spread which is constant spread all the time, and i never face any problems that caused by unstable connection. Regarding execution, I am not so sure because i am using EA and it is not scalper EA. But i think most brokers including those highly regulated brokers may have re quote from time to time.

This trade is a big problem for the long term viability of your system(1 oct 2010):
10.01.10 15:42 10.04.10 11:15 EURUSD Sell 0.20 0.00000 1.36990 1.37330 1.37110 22.0 4.40 2d 0.68%
The position was left open for two days over the weekend it seems for a profit of only 22pips on a draw-down of 71 pips as the euro peaked at 1.3804. Thus the [pip gain : draw-down ratio] = 0.3 which is not good it must at least be 1. In other words 77 pip gain for 77 draw-down. If you your win rate comes in a 70% with lets say 10pips on each trade and the losing trades come at 3x that for a total loss of 90 pips , you would have -20 pips, even though 70% is a good win rate.
On the last trade with two mini-lots you incurred a $154 draw-down on a deposit of $675, risking 23% of capital to make $44 which isn't a viable way to trade in the long term.

Hello Stephanus,
Thanks for the observation. A .1 lot = 10 pennies and not $1 like a traditional std account. Therefore, a Risk of $14 is around 2-3%.I also have a 87% success rate on this particular account, but I am not a type of trader who focuses on statistics. Sorry to make this short and sweet, but I'm always open to improvements and criticism. It's a part of life that can not be avoided.

It has nothing to do with being critical or being personal. The parameter [pip gain : draw-down ratio] for each trade scaled according to equity(1micro isn't the same as 1standard lot if both incurred a 70 pip draw-down) allows us to instantly quantify the risk reward ratio of a portfolio. There is nothing emotional about it, just an analytical evaluation of the risk incurred in making a return on equity. All trading systems must be listed from high to low according to this factor and not the present way of listing a system from highest gain to lowest return on equity. Careful inspection of systems that made high returns will reveal that after three months they bombed due to excessive risk taking and draw-downs.
By listing systems with high returns first , it places excessive pressure on PAMM systems that want to trade responsibly and generate a stead return with acceptable risk reward ratio. It would be trivial to program this factor in Excel or python.

Your barking up at the wrong tree sir.
Please don't bombard me with R/R ratios. If you understood how I trade, or have the time to pick apart each individual trade, you will find out that many of my trades can be used with a 5 pip stoploss that gained 20 pips. Think about the r/r on those trades ;-)
Also, even If I were to use risk 40 pips to make 20 pips. My success rate still provides a sufficient return.
