Low Deposit Doubler Strategy
in
Trading Systems
Apr 14, 2010 at 11:15
I assume the low deposit doubler strategy can be used just as well to double a large deposit? :)Also, does it have to involve the USDDKK pair as my brokers don't trade this pair.

A great idea, however I'm not sure how much use it would be, what with hedging and grid based strategies running on this site it could actually provide very misleading information. Maybe there would need to be a tick box on each account "Include in market sentiment widget" so people can opt there trades out of it.

I'll agree with Randy, quite often the simplest ideas make the best robots and it's not hard to "decompile" from a trade history. Hiding trade history is acceptable in my opinion. Equity always shows if there is massive drawdown on open trades and the summaries give you an idea of pip counts, trade counts etc.

Sounds good Randy.Cast Iron Man is my own self developed robot, not been too hot over the last few months but he's definitely a long term prospect as he is live trading almost exactly as he backtests and the backtests are good. He's not available in the shops, only available via Tradency.

Check out his webpage www.superfxrobot.com.As I understand it it's an arbitrage robot, i.e. it will take a price feed from one broker and compare it to another broker looking for discrepancies. If it finds a sufficient one it will trade. My guess is that it would be very susceptible to which brokers you use, what latency you have on your vps and the processing power of the computer running the system amongst other things. This possibly explains why he doesn't offer a refund as I would imagine it takes a lot of messing around to get it to work.

Yeah, think I went to one of their free seminars once but didn't end up signing up for the course. Guess it depends where you are at in terms of your knowledge and how independent a knowledge seeker you are.I felt that my level of market knowledge was good enough that I wouldn't gain much from the seminar. I was already making money from trading and was actually making better returns than they told me they were achieving on the course. They have some of their own strategies that they teach, I think one revolved around pivot points. If you put in the hard work on the internet on various ...

"This account uses a custom start date - for full history analysis use the 'Custom Analysis' tool."If I open up the date range you're showing trades in January and February with a losing streak. That's all I'm asking, where did they come from - is it the same EA? Is it manual trading? Is it a different EA?

It would be really useful to have a tab for watched systems next to out portfolio tab and also allow us to group them in the same way we can with portfolios.

You don't think? I reckon if I wanted to enter the market at say 10,000 standard lots then I'd have trouble getting filled all at the same price.

I used to provide signals on ZuluTrade but a friend who was using my signals had two occurences where a stop loss was not set by the platform, the second of which cost him 16% of his equity before he noticed that it had happened. They did offer to repay the money but it was only small stakes. I can't imagine they'd do the same if it was a large pot being traded.I would stay away.

Hi Rob,I use Tradency to offer my signals to people, so that's one option you might want to investigate. There are other signal provider services out there but I've found that Tradency are about the most professional. Other than that you could provide your investor password and allow people to use trade copier programs - you could then charge a monthly subscription to the password. I've tried managing other people's money personally myself and it's a lot less stressful and easier if you just provide them with the ability to take your signals rather than actually placing the...
