http://www.roustech.com/fx-bridge/ this is an interesting bridge that MT4 brokers may be using to make sure they can match your order before giving you the confirmation. Also allows -- Capture more profit from spread. Effective configuration of the bridge ensures access to increased spread profit.

I thought about this as well since Dukascopy is well known with OrderDesk for liquidity figures. However, my Dukascopy account was closed down a few months back ( NFA ) and I don't see the light anymore. I'm sure someone will bound to try and they'll probably have success regarding execution time and liquidity. However, Dukascopy's servers aren't in London ( if my research was true) so I'm sure there will be high latency somewhere. Run some times, and share.

This is actually the direction that I am going myself as MT4 servers were never designed for HFT. I should have something working within a month ( demo ) and after the tests I'll go live. It will be written for FIX API, so I wouldn't be limited to 1 specific broker =)

wow, Not shocked really, but thank you for this information. I've been watching a group full of accounts (profitable) at thinkforex and I'll be expecting a change in performance if this is true. The ping time to server is still sufficient to make trades, however, the execution time will surely never work and this would explain WHY thinkforex did this move. ( its to save their *ss). Profitable Broker setups are not a secret guys. You can do a simple search on this website and find the good setup. I did this myself and I found a solid setup at a regulated ECN. If you can't do this y...

How to properly test slippage without building a sophisticated DLL/EA like yours? I'm using a script to enter my positions - with in the script After the OrderSend() function is used , Print Function displays the "" broker time - Spread - and bid/ask"" to see if I'm getting the order that I requested. To me this doesn't seam like the best approach. Have any ideas?

Yes you are. He adds money into his account to prevent a margin call. Therefore he can not trade with a Fixed amount (investment). He fails to use a stop loss, he continues to add positions to loosing positions which forces him to periodically add funds until the market turns in his favor. He's been long on EURUSD since 1.4400 or something like that.. So about a 1000 pip Draw down.

1.16 unless otherwise noted. Since 1.16 works nicely on this Demo environment at Thinkforex there would be NO reason to run a different version. Version 1.2 was suppose to fix some of the issues that users are facing with delayed execution. Introduction to Group_orders. View PDF

OK well if your using IBFX , i"d PM - http://www.myfxbook.com/members/Professor53or follow his account as you two use the same broker. To avoid these losses, I'd suggest a different broker. If you want to know opinion, just PM me.

Are these based on your own setting, because I do not see this results on this demo account or some other Live accounts. The BUYS at 3500 were overall in the green =)

I've attached a simple Trend Line Trading Tool for MetaTrader4 as I saw you trading trend lines manually. Very simple to use. Instructions attached in rar. Also thank you for sharing so much information in the forum. I read through all 40+ pages last night and I'm glad someone is documenting their journal as well. Brokers are finally being exposed. Keep up the sharing and I'll add some as I see fit.

Understood. You may want to consider working with MAM instead of PAMM as investor's withdraw would not affect your portfolio of positions.

74% equity is a nasty Drawdown for an account manager.

Simple Martingale . At least your honest and willing to keep your Trade history open to public. I wish I could say the same for other members that run Martingale. The equity drawdown is pretty scary when you look at the Instaforex widget as the true DD doesn't show up on Myfxbook.http://instaforex.com/pamm_monitoring.php?trader=1056759System is High Risk with potentially high reward. Recommended to pull profits out after each recovery.

Internal Factors? Can you explain this in greater detail? High leverage is result of Averaging Down? Is this an EA on autopilot? or An EA controlled with Manual intervention, or purely mechanical system (manual)? What measures did you take to prevent this from happening again?
