The setting from the website and backtests were on version 0.8.2 . In version 0.8.5 We have changed the Safemode and added the Safemodelevel in replacement. Therefore old setting could not be used in the same way. The settings in the backtest can still be used. this account was for Forex Striker, but the EA is no good. Their official live account is a joke and their trying to scam people by showing a live account at a BROKER that they OWN. They reduced the ECN commission so low, that its not even close to REAL scenario. Commission on 1 lot should be about 5-10usd , but their official account is paying 0.80 cents on a 1 lot. If checked and If the server were to disconnect us, we would be reconnected automatically to the next available server. This is GOOD and this is the reason why MT4 has this option. Most brokers have more than one server, so technically speaking we should always be connected regardless of what server is available. The Chat Support is not providing a solution and if we listen to them, this would create more issues. Something fishy is going on behind closed doors at XE.

Great Questions below!I changed Cycles =1 to Cycle = 0 !Does the EA still control the positions from Cycle = 0? No, Once you change to Long Cycle, the Older positions will wait until Retracement to close out basket. You can always change back to Cycle = 1 to manage the short cycle. Or add another chart with same TimeFrame and same settings but have Cycles = 1 and Cycles = 0 on the two charts. Right now the DD-basket on EURJPY includes 8 orders. I guess due to the strong move against the positions the SafeMode kicked in and the EA didn�t open the ninth order anymore. Under what circumstance...

Me too. same issues. Have any ideas for this. I think we can do a IsCOnnected test, and if it fails, use a windows handle to close the platform , and use a RestartAfterCrash App to reopen mt4, however, I've noticed we still need to go through the Login process again.

I wouldn't use TradeFort at all. This broker is blocking accounts almost every day and often on days when accounts go into drawdown. Spring cleaning in November is what it sounds like. There's an interesting discussion over at donnaforex about this broker. I'd use XE markets with minimum $150usd

XEmarkets almost blocked my account ( exceeding their 10,000 message calls per day ) with previous setting. I'll need to update my website and on this discussion with current setting. As a result, Last week I only traded Long on JPY pairs: cad/jpy audjpy And EURJPY was in FreezeMode from the previous week therefore it was waiting for the upward retracement to close the baskets, and then froze again from entering a new buy basket. It looks like he's doing the same method that I did on my FI account. Close the Biggest Lots/Levels Manually and allow the Level to reenter again. It looks like his 23 lot re entered several times. but never reached the actual basket TP which would close the rest of the BUY positions on GU. We're all waiting for the Up move on this pair. If you can manually trade ( watch over the account ) , sometimes this method will boost the profits while waiting for the basket TP.

I've experienced off quotes with FXCM mt4 On Live Accounts in the past. Sometimes you can't close profitable positions. I couldn't tell you exactly why this broker has off quotes more than any other broker I've ever used.
