Unfortunately not event that is enough here. We have 5 million tax payers and 45 mil people. And the 45 mil had all been promised free houses by the current government so they would get elected in. We're already on rolling power cuts and people are flying pigeons with flash drives strapped to their legs as it is faster than DSL. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8248056.stmSo when we do have electricity the internet is sometimes so slow it's almost not usable. So some of us needs VPS's....I actually propose a new form of democracy. One tax payer one vote, if you contribute you can ...

I didn't look at MT5. I'll just go with what the professionals use, like banks. They're all on C++ FIX. It's industry standard as far as I understand it. If I don't get into it now I'll have to do it later. This way I only have to do the work once. MT just can't cope with my volume or trading style. I'll pay the O fee. They're about 1000 times more efficient than the ECN's at this point in time. To be comparable I'll have to find a ECN with minimum trade sizes of 0.00001 lots. With Go markets at 0.01 lot on a standard account I need $10 000 000 to do...

I've decided to abandon MT4. Just can't keep up. So anybody here tried the combination above? Me thinks I'll be needing a lot of advice.....

In fact yesterday I banked Total Pips: 2811.2 pips and my equity fell from 100.14% to 100.09% by late afternoon. Was a losing day.

Only figure that matter is your NAV ( Net Asset Value) - That is Balance minus open losing positions. Pips are irrelevant. I can show you anything I want with a pip. On Fx book you'd look at the equity figure and see what that is as a percentage of balance. If its lower than 100% the system is busy losing, if it's higher than 100% the system is busy winning. In most systems it would be under/over all the time, if it's a winning system they'll both rise in tandem, but if there's a system sitting there with equity as 50% of balance day-in-day out then it's just a questi...

It's actually becoming quite painful to try work with it...I can make a cup off tea in the time it takes to adjust the entire portfolio. In fact, not a bad idea. I can post and have a cup of tea and I bet you it's still chugging away when I come back.

Your main communication should be on twitter. 20 million users there, stream through to 500 000 000 on Facebook, use that to send people to your discussion. You're not going to get the volumes here that you can find on FB or Twitter. So you comm's need to be there. Twitter is also not a good discussion forum. More for keeping clients up to date and streaming trades. You can always send a link to a discussion here via tweets. That's what it's for.In fact you can post a link on any of your trades that get stream that brings people back here to your profile.

The systems here look profitable. I doubt the majority are. I think very few are really profitable long term.

MQLHYou're not going to be able to salvage anything here. Why don't you show how honest you are and give JP his money back as your guarantee promises?

MQLHYou are not honest!! If you were honest you wouldn't sell the bloody thing!! You don't even know if your EA's work or not!! The last one you had to stop selling because it drew down to much. You didn't even know it draws down that much!! Or you did know and sold it anyway!! And then comes the spin..."in the interest of our clients.."There is nothing honest about any of that.

Doubletrap...Load of dwang that. Someone on this board was complaining the other day because Paypal didn't help them to get a refund. Most EA's work on any broker, not only Alpari. Of course you'd have to know what it actually does to manage it. Back tests are useless as you know since you lost money even after testing. And disaster certainly doesn't make you better for it. Not of you're being deliberately misled as is the case in 99.9% of EA sales.

If you cracked it you cracked it, facts are facts. I don't see 12263 pips as a boast. If that's what you do, that's what you do...Certainly seem a bit more settled (read sane) than you were then. Maybe an extra 4 years of life helped.
