I want my Sharpe to be 4+ and I have got it that patience is very important here to improve hit rate which is related to Sharpe as I see it now.

I think everything is important. But to make truly outstanding results everything must be in tune. I am working on my psychological part as I think it is what made me enter not in the best places and now makes me exit early. I generally see where the price is going but would like to have some kind of thing that let me exit if price reverses and to look for signs of reversal. if price simply goes against me when i am in trade it doe snot mean that it is not going to continue in my direction.

I know where to enter or cut loss, exits are still not worked out. actually I have good targets, price most of the time hit where I expect to take profit, but most of the time I get spooked and close earlier. My entries are mostly very good.

yes, scalpers beware. I think there should be no target. I also think how to develop exit strategy. Exits is my weak spot.

Oanda1. Spread and also freezes occasioanlly2. Bad charts before MT43.No oil and commodities4. A lot of stupid new rules5. They closed my account and asked me to move to canadian branch.but I withdrew from them even before.

Oanda was much worse in this regard. They increased spread and killed trades.

I am not the kind of the guy who blames brokers for losses. It is only this kind of problem with non responsive platform while I am in trade that worries me. Otherwise I think no big difference.

not to mention they look responsible when problem is from their side. MB trading was not willing to do anything even on small account.

I remember there were a number of discussions on Oanda forum among experienced hedgers. Someone told that even when hedging there must be some risk taken otherwise no profit is possible. You can dig a lot of hedging discussions there from archives.

Frankly, when i traded currencies I have never had any issues. It is only oil that makes problems and from what they told me it somehow related to their liquidity provider.

I would say that FXPrimus always answers my questions and they compensated me for trade lost due to platform issues. Thsi is really good.

You know, it would be really interesting to know as I always wonder how guys who hedge control their risk. Ok, you are both long and short on same currency but you are only safe as long as both positions are working. How money can be made in this case and what's the risk?
