[2011-09-29] Optimized settings missed out on a losing trade on 2011-09-15. This has given this account a great start after applying my new settings. 😉

[2012-01-25] After what has been some volatile times, this strategy continues to move nicely forward. It's nice to see that all the hard work I put into optimizing this set file is paying off on my live account, now also up 34.14%.

In response to the above questions, I feel that giving you my set file would be robbing you of the opportunity to truly understand this awesome Expert Advisor. I have back tested, with a friends membership, using Asirikuy https://www.asirikuy.com/ data on the EURUSD. The most important thing you need to learn how to do is know how to use the Optimize feature in the Back Test console of Meta Trader 4. This is crucial for automating the process of finding optimised settings. Also downloading the Trend manual and reading every scalper setting will help you know how optimising each setting affects the performance.

Once you have optimised settings, you need to re-optimise them as new Market data becomes available to ensure the settings are always up to date. Do your homework on back testing, learn how to do it with good data and find your own optimum settings as mine are specifically suited for this accounts strategy - this is the only way this strategy will remain valid, by keeping it up to date :)

You need to find risk settings that you feel comfortable with - this is a strategy with draw down, sometimes hard to stomach, but the benefits are enormous if you have faith in your back testing and the settings you find and the knowledge you'll be able to share with others.

[2012-04-12] In collaboration with a Forex friend, I have now made some major changes to the exit strategy of this EA. I have also changed it Trend OSOB 2.0b. It now uses the stop loss to break even setting and a secret modification. Should be able to reduce the overall draw-down and capture some more pips than my previous average. Risk setting is ridiculous and I'm embarrassed to mention it.
